This project proposes a virtual display space for all datasets associated with the production of bananas, taking as an example the case of the United Fruit Company (now Chiquita Brands International).

Exploring the virtual space means tracing the journey that brings a banana to our tables. From land use and industry, to infrastructure, shipping, and trading, the project compiles live datasets and organizes them in a spatial diagram that allows us to perceive the impact of banana production at a global scale, as well as the issues it raises for local communities in several Latin American countries.
