| email: cmorris@eidnet.org time this year. In previous years, we have marketed our bulls directly from our ranch in Patricia. As the size of our purebred red angus herd has grown, we have decided that we are now in a position to market our bulls in this sale.

One of our highest priorities is to produce bulls with good feet. Our sale bulls have never had their feet trimmed and all are naturally sound. The first comments made by buyers visiting our place are that all of our bulls are exceptionally quiet and easy to handle. From the time they are born, the bulls are handled daily on foot and are fed by hand with pails as they mature into yearlings and two-year olds. We place a high value on the good temperament of our bulls and any displaying a bad attitude are culled from the herd.

We have brought 10 yearling bulls and 8 two-year old bulls to the sale this year. The yearling bulls were weaned on October 5 and have been fed 6 lbs. of Trouw Nutrition Bull Ration daily along with free-choice hay since weaning. The yearlings we have brought to town include both heifer bulls and performance bulls and a few that would work in either pen.

The two-year old bulls are all sired by Red C.D. Dawson Gold Rush 26D. We were fortunate to purchase this high selling bull from the 2017 C.D. Land and Cattle Sale and have been very happy with the performance traits displayed by his progeny in our own herd. If you are seeking performance results in your existing cow herd, any of these two-year old bulls will serve you well. These bulls were fed the same program as our yearlings until spring of last year and then grazed until December 15. They have been fed 8 lbs. of Trouw Nutrition Bull Ration daily along with freechoice hay since that time.

All bulls have been vaccinated with Bovi-Shield Gold, Covexin Plus, and will have had both shots of Fusogard to protect against foot rot prior to sale day.
