The SUBEX Diving Team from the hotel’s on-site Diving Centre will guide everyone from beginners to advanced divers through the hidden wonders of the Red Sea; it’s your chance to discover this incredible world for yourself.
The SUBEX Diving Center caters for a range of ages and experience. Beginners can book in for a course of lessons whilst experience divers can enjoy independent diving. You can hire private dive guides or for groups, there are even options for early morning and night dives. Snorkelers will be in their element too. Marvel at the brightly
coloured corals and fish along the reef edge, which you can access directly from the jetty. All snorkeling and diving equipment can be hired directly from our diving center. There are masks and snorkels available, as well as fins and shorties in various sizes even in little sizes for the kids. DESTINATION
Discover the Red Sea in El Quseir El Quseir, known in Ptolemaic times as the White Harbour, has a long history as one of the major ports of the Red Sea. Today, it is a quiet resort with sandy beaches, clear waters and coral reefs. The town's narrow streets are lined with colourful bazaars which have a decidedly Bedouin accent. An ancient caravan trail, to Qift in the Nile Valley, leads from El Quseir through the mountains, passing several Pharaonic and Roman sites.
El Quseir is about 75 miles south of Hurghada and has some spectacular diving. The Red Sea offers some of the most diverse diving in the world. Whether you want a lazy dive through a shallow coral garden, or a nose around the aquatic community from your deep-sea drop-off location, with more than 1,500 miles of coastline in Egypt there are sites to suit everyone. A stay in El Quseir is not limited to just diving, in and around
the town there are many historical sites. Ottoman Fortress, dates back to the 16th Century, it has now been restored and homes a museum containing displays of local history. Or perhaps a visit to Wadi Hammamat, located about half way between El Quseir and Gift (ancient Coptos), famous today mostly for its pharaonic graffiti. From the adventure seekers to the sun seekers, El Quseir has something for everyone.
