THE HOME OF DANISH DESIGN The one and only design hotel and the only hotel by renowned Danish architect Arne Jacobsen: Welcome to the true home of Danish modernism. Located in the heart of Copenhagen, the Radisson Collection Royal Hotel, Copenhagen was originally designed by the Danish architect Arne Jacobsen in 1960 and was renovated in 2018 under the direction of Space Copenhagen. As Jacobsen’s most all-encompassing body of work, and the first skyscraper built in the Danish capital, it holds the enviable title of the world’s first design hotel. The revamped 261 rooms and suites feature stunning skyline views and iconic furnishings, like the Egg, Swan and Drop chairs reupholstered in fresh fabrics. The hotel’s five signature suites are an ode to Danish craftsmanship, with lamps, artwork and accessories by the acclaimed Danish designers Cecilie Manz and Poul Kjaerholm.
