I have seen BGreen grow over the past two years, expanding to reach corporate UAE, policy makers, leaders of industry and society in going green. we met and realised that we have a lot in common, from our shared passion and ideals, to our actions in society. i think this is only the beginning of the Magazine’s journey in spreading the message. I am with them not just in parternship; we are friends. — His highness SHEIKH Abdul Aziz Bin Ali Al Nuaimi

We will also be organising quarterly events for the panellists to meet and mingle, while discussing the latest in news, strategies and solutions on focussed topics related to sustainability.

BGreen is also sent to key governmental departments across the GCC.

Directory BGreen has created the Middle East’s most informative sustainability directory, live on www.buildgreen.ae. EXPERTISE IN EVENTS AWARDS & COMPETITIONs

NETWORKING

ROUNDTABLES Your business could sponsor a bespoke BGreen roundtable where industry leaders debate and discuss sector-specific issues currently in the news. What separates BGreen Roundtables from any other focussed media event, is our expansive reach in the key industries we represent . Our contacts in the public and private sectors, and among NGOs, allows us to objectively weigh issues pertaining

to sustainability. Some of our past roundtables have examined the benefits of adopting integrated building processes for green construction, and the role various stakeholders can adopt in climate change mitigation. In the coming months, we aim to explore topics such as the relevance of green technology, waste management strategies, green supply chain solutions, and more.

The BGreen Awards is held at the end of every calendar year in a black-tie setting, to recognise the contributions of thought-leaders in sustainable industries. The 2011 edition of the awards was inaugurated by our patron, His Highness Sheikh Abdul Aziz Bin Ali Al Nuaimi, the Green Sheikh of Ajman. Through our nation-wide competitiongs, we want to position ourselves as a bridge between future talent and leaders of industry. This is

why we are launching a series of competitions for university students eager to break into the highly competitive and rewarding field of sustainability. For example, our first edition will bring the best and brightest budding green designers together to compete for an internship with a leading green design firm, where they will have the opportunity to be moulded by the finest environmental stewards in the construction industry.

Throughout the year we hold networking evenings and business breakfasts to give our readers and clients the personal touch of face-to-face business. You could be platinum or co-sponsor of a BGreen Focussed Networking event, where up to 200 people meet in a relaxed corporate atmosphere, to network and hear from distinguished speakers with a vested interest in a greener Middle East. On a more frequent scale, our BGreen CEO Breakfast Club allows senior employees and

decision-makers to meet and mingle outside of conferences and boardrooms. Esteemed speakers from our past events include world-renowned environmental leader Robert Swan, the first person in history to walk to both the North and South poles, who dedicates his life to the preservation of Antarctica. As a fervent supporter of BGreen, Swan said, “I am familiar with the magazine’s achievements in the Middle East and I believe that BGreen is an invaluable contribution to the region’s green industry.”

ONLINE Website Buildgreen.ae is BGreen’s official website and can help your business reach thousands of sustainability professionals around the globe. Directory 2012 saw the launch of the BGreen Directory, an add-on to the primary BGreen site, providing an extensive bank of environmentally sustainable business that other businesses can search through to find their ideal business partner. GREEN CAREERS

corporate badges

We have also launched a classified jobs section with our partnership with Allen & York Sustainable Recruitment, to advertise vacancies in target industries related to sustainability in the region.

Our corporate badges are specially designed tabs on the buildgreen.ae homepage that provide key companies an ideal position for branding, in line with our green credentials as an objective media platform. The tab essentially acts as an online library documenting your company’s successes in sustainability, obstacles overcome, and future goals and targets that help you hone your competitive advantage. With news articles on your company’s latest achievements and initiatives, Q&As with the heads of operations, analyses of your latest sustainability report, and more, the corporate badge is the ideal way for a truly green corporation to prove that they walk the talk in terms of sustainable business practices.

Social Media Our social media is constantly expanding across Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn. With our hand on the pulse regarding all things related to corporate sustainability, we have garnered more than 500 supporters across each platform.
