TIMES

MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY: Place orders from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for next day delivery or will-call. Weekday short orders (same day deliveries) must be placed by 9 a.m. We can make no delivery time guarantees on shorts orders.

SATURDAY AND SUNDAY: Place orders from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. for next day delivery. Shorts orders (same day deliveries) are due by 9 am.

Minimum size order for delivery will be determined at the time your account is set up.

WILL CALL HOURS: Monday through Friday: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday: not offered currently. Check cpw.coop for updates.

Orders called in after regular business hours may be left on voicemail but will not be processed for the following day’s delivery.

HOLIDAYS

CPW is closed Thanksgiving, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day, and has limited hours on other holidays.

TERMS

Payment is due at time of delivery for new customers, unless otherwise arranged with our accounts receivable department. For established customers, terms are 14 days.

ORDERING INFORMATION

CATALOG

This catalog is published twice a year and includes all products carried by CPW, without pricing. It also includes the profiles of some of our producers and new product lines. A digital version of the catalog is available on our website at www.cpw.coop/our-products.

PRICE LISTS

Our produce price list changes twice weekly and our entire price list is sent out to customers via email on Monday and Friday mornings. The price list is available in PDF, xls and CSV form. New price changes are color highlighted in the price cell while new items are color highlighted by the entire row. We also email weekly produce news and monthly grocery specials. Ask a salesperson about subscribing to these helpful email lists.

SPLIT CASES

At this time, there are no split cases to ensure the utmost food safety.

DELIVERY

All accounts have a minimum order size for delivery, which is determined by our trucking department. Delivery fees may be assessed for below minimum orders and/or a fuel surcharge may be added to your order. Our freight charge for accounts outside the metro area is negotiated on a case-by-case basis, depending on location and available shipping options. For some deliveries we may utilize common carriers or delivery services.

CROSS-DOCKING

CPW works with several regional producers to cross-dock their products on our trucks. We do not inventory these products, customers order directly from the producer and the order is shipped with CPW deliveries. See page 91-92 for cross-docked producers and procedures.

PRE-ORDER ITEMS

Various items in this catalog are not stocked by CPW, but special ordered upon request. These items are marked “Available for Pre-order” along with the pre-order schedule. These items include Cre8it salads, various Valley’s Own baked goods, and specialty herbs and mushrooms.

CREDIT POLICY

When pulling your order, every effort is made to ensure accuracy and quality. However, if you receive product that is unsatisfactory, please adhere to the following procedures: • Requests for credit must be called, faxed or emailed to us within 24 hours of receiving your order. Email credits to credits@cpw.coop. • Please have the date, invoice number and lot number of product (if possible) when submitting for credit. • The driver will write out a credit memo only if product is returned from that day’s delivery. Credit requests from previous deliveries must be approved by a salesperson. Once your salesperson has been contacted and has issued a credit, Customer Service will let you know if we plan to pick up the product or if you should dispose of it. This guideline maybe negotiated for out-of-town accounts. Please do not write directly on the boxes to be returned. • Any exceptions to this policy must be approved by a salesperson. Please help us by checking your order as it is delivered. Your driver will be happy to assist you.
