KOMBUCHA KEGS AVAILABLE

We carry Bootlegger Kombucha and Nessalla Kombucha kegs—some may be in stock, special order, or vary by season. Check with a CPW sales person for current availability. For all kegs, customers need to have a kegerator (refrigeration unit that has a tapping mechanism). These can be bought at hardware stores or most beer-making supply houses. All kegs are approximately 5-gallon size or 660 oz. (though there is no standard sizing on kegs). The top mechanism is called a coupler—most common are “Sankey” and “Cornelius” couplers—that attaches to the handle for tapping. Most vendors supply a branded tap handle upon request. There will be a deposit charged on most kegs which will be credited back when you return the empty kegs with our drivers. Several producers are now using plastic kegs that are intended to be recycled. These kegs have no deposit and can be discarded with regular plastic recycling.
