My name is Silly Boy Blue, I’m a French singer-songwriter. I’m about to release my first album, "Breakup Songs", on the 18th of June. I write pop songs, with synths, guitars or piano. I’ve been writing since I was a kid, mainly helped by strong female figures: Joan Jett, Lorde, Joni Mitchell, Lady Gaga, Weyes Blood, Aldous Harding, Angel Olsen… I’ve borrowed my stage name from one of the first songs by David Bowie, who I have admired since I was a kid. Apart from music, I’m doing a lot of things because 1/ I don’t sleep much 2/ I need to be occupied most of the time. It’s kinda hard to pick one thing I do, because I tend to transform new hobbies into obsessions real quick, and some of them disappear as quickly as they came into my life
those and read some feminist analyses, for example, to understand the best and the worst parts of those movies, and get how it empowered us or f*cked up our vision of love and friendship. And I love digging into the meaning of certain scenes, schemes and links between the characters. And then I read all the biographies, and careers of the actors. And then I go to bed because it’s kinda too much haha...
But one that sticks through the years is Teen Movies. I can’t get enough of cafeteria scenes, and drama love stories. "10 things I hate about The debut album "Breakup you", "Mean Girls", "Clueless", Songs" is out now. "Jawbreaker", "Heathers"… I could watch those movies forever and ever. Now that I’m a bit older, I love re-watching 21
