WHO ARE YOU?

I’m Brooke Combe (pronounced like a hair comb). I’ve gotten every possible variation of the name at this point. I’m 22 years old and I’m from Edinburgh but you’ll probably see me more in Liverpool. That’s like my second home.

WHAT DO YOU DO?

I write tunes and sing as well as play a couple of different instruments.

WHY DO YOU DO IT?

My life revolves around music and it has done for a long time now it feels like. It gives me a buzz and I can’t imagine not doing it. I also do it because I’ve gotten lucky to have many amazing opportunities come my way that has sort of paved this new lifestyle for me. It’s boss.

WHAT'S HAPPENING NOW?

I’ve started dusting off the cobwebs to get ready for the Miles Kane UK Tour. I’ll be supporting him the whole tour so I’m really excited about that. It’s gonna be a great experience with my band who are my good mates too. Then it’s on to festival season. Most excited for TRNSMT on the home turf. That should be a belter of a day!

WHAT'S THE HOT TOPIC?

Hot topic in music right now for me would probably be Wet Leg. I love what they’re doing and I’m sure I read somewhere they started writing those tunes as a laugh and it kind of just took off for them which I think is cool. Their songs are boss.

My next festival is Stockton Calling on April 16th so hope to see everyone there. My new single ‘Miss Me Now’ came out a couple of weeks ago so have a listen and get dancing!
