WHO ARE YOU?
My name’s Will, I’m a producer-songwriter based in Dalston London releasing music under the alias Daisy Brain
WHAT DO YOU DO?
I write guitar music with my best mate Dan in my room, we both balance that and working at a pizza joint in Hackney.
WHY DO YOU DO IT?
It started as a hobby, then a distraction from everything going on in my life growing up. I do what I do now because it’s all I know. There’s a lot bubbling up inside me (more so now than ever) and if I can’t express myself through this creative outlet, I’d probably explode.
WHAT'S HAPPENING NOW?
Right now I’m getting ready for the biggest headline I’ve ever done, in my hometown, London. After rescheduling my entire UK tour to November, it only feels right to make sure this particular show goes off like never before.
WHAT'S THE HOT TOPIC?
There seems to be a big revival of the late 90s/ early 2000s guitar music, and I’m totally here for it. Artists like Avril Lavigne, Green Day and Blur are my biggest inspiration for the music I make and the lyrics I write, I couldn’t have asked for a better time for this to happen really.
