MEDIA RELEASE New photo competition focuses on our natural place – the Cradle Coast A new photographic competition focusing on the positive aspects of the natural Cradle Coast environment, has been launched today. Cradle Coast Natural Resource Management (NRM) Project Officer, Rechelle Fisher, said the competition aims to highlight the creativity, passion and care for the natural environment, by the North West community. The competition has been made possible through funding from the Australian Government’s Caring for Our Country program. “This competition is about reflecting what we see around us in a positive and creative way through photographic imagery”. “It also aims to recognise the significant contribution people make to ‘their natural place’.” Some great prizes are on offer to the winners of the various categories as well as the overall winner of the competition, however, entry is free.
