Meet the editors I've been a crafty person for as long as I can remember - from construction paper hearts littered around my grandparents' living room to my senior prom dress made out of duck tape - crafting and creating has played a huge role in who I am today. I currently live in Indiana with my husband, Sam, and my dog, Levi. My crafts are still so important to me today. Crafting gives me something to focus my energy on, something to keep my brain working and learning, and the rush of accomplishment when a project is complete? Awesome! I would say that there are very few crafts that I won't try at least once, but my current crafting obsession is crocheting. You can follow my crafting adventures, as well as other aspects of my life at my personal blog, Aforementioned Thoughts.

About Craftier and The Editors
I love anything and everything creative and have a passion for learning how to do it all. I've attended a semester of vocational baking school, taken classes in graphic design, photography, and have taught myself to crochet, silkscreen, bind books, and more. I'm not sure if it's creative ADD or if I just want to learn it all. Some of you may know me from my former blog, MyWoodenRobot where I wrote about my crafty experiences and interviewed other handmade sellers for some inspiration. All the people I met and talked to have inspired me in my latest adventure: launching my paper goods line called Janie XY that will hopefully launch in September.

There’s just something about the owl that’s so facinating. It may be that it’s associated with wisdom or that they just look so darn cute on mini notebooks, and this is definitely a mini notebook measuring at about 2″ square. Need more than one? HeliS has lots too choose from!
It’s hard to imagine staying still for a minute, let alone carefully layering intricately cut paper to create this amazing MINIATURE sculpture. Sixty-five dollars? I think it’s worth it. Check out elsita’s store more great paper items.
These little donut stitch markers will definitely leave you hungry to pickup your project and finish it! (And then maybe get a donut to celebrate…) Visit scarymerry’s store to find more fun and tasty looking yarn buddies.

craftier Looking for an indie and fun alternative to your stuffed animal? Love and a Sandwich is the shop to go to with a giant selection of furry friends and pocket yetis (my favorite) and all at an afforable price. What more can you ask for?
Who says art galleries need to be the size of a warehouse? So, why not start your own mini art gallery that you can display in your locker, cubical, or any other space crying for some asthetic value. Just make some tiny drawings, hand them up, and viola! Your own tiny gallery. Not much of a painter or drawer? Don’t worry, TinyArtbyJMullin is your place with art that measures only 2.5″ x 3.5″ like the beautiful one below.
Everything about this little pouch is awesome from its bright color to its embossed pattern and especially its miniature size! I think I’ve fallen in love with fuchs und baer’s shop!
What a nice way to end our “mini” issue. The miniature items we found were certainly inspiring and the cute factor was turned all the way up. So, without futher ado, I bring you the super cute miniature charm from an even cuter store, micasita.
