in play

preface
What will life at play be like in 2019? The future of play will be more socially and electronically connected than ever.
When at play, people will be able to connect to each other through traditional games, cereal boxes, computers and the like to interact with each other in exciting, inventive and interactive ways.
7:35 am
Every kid can relate to waking up in the morning and having that first bowl of cereal to start the day off with. People of today and of yesterday can remember the toys and puzzles in and on the box. Some of us still get excited to be the first to reach in there and discover the toy or mark up the box. The cereal box of 2019 is reusable. Companies will sell the durable box to consumers who will refill their box when necessary. These reusable boxes besides, being eco friendly, will be connected to a virtual game network. Each day, not only can one enjoy a nice bowl of cereal, but one can also enjoy games and connect to other breakfast eating gamers in their network.
Using brainwaves with computer technology
12:02 pm
Ever see Star Wars, did you ever want to be a Jedi and use the force to thwart your enemies, well now you can…kind of. These glasses function as headset, which measures brainwaves and turns them into energy. The device, issued with receptors reads activity among the brain’s neurons. The player then “teaches” the device’s software to associate thought patterns with commands. Using these thought commands the user can navigate through the custom interface that they would view with the glasses on. Connect to friends, play games with people, use it as a cell phone or to simply check your e-mail, hands free and no extra technological baggage to carry around on your person.
5:05 pm
Our pets need to have play in the future too! While the family is away, now the cat can play. This holographic mouse will activate during certain times of the day while you’re away to keep your cat fit and healthy. Do you want to see what your cat is up to? The holographic mouse is able to record your cat’s play during the day. Depending on where the cat and mouse are in the house the holographic sensors will activate in each room recording sound and picture while at play. The owner can easily tap into the network and see what their cat is doing while they’re away.

From Virtual
To Reality
Social creation is the new PLAY
TruePlay allows users to create their own 3d virtual worlds and invent their own new methods of play. It allows users to design and build new worlds, inventions, and possibilities. What was once created by a single developer is now created by a team of friends, neighbors, relatives, or complete strangers. Giving users true interaction in creating their own world and rules. The team’s creativity is the only limit as to what can be created.

MAKE THE VIRTUAL into REALITY WITH RAPID PROTOTYPING 3D creations created in TruePlay are not only for the virtual world. With the aid of rapid prototyping processes, every single object created online can be developed and created in the real world in a variety of materials. TruePlay brings the play of the virtual world physically to you. Here are some examples of play objects created using the personal desktop TruePlay 3D Printer.
For larger scale projects such as swing sets, furniture, and others, TruePlay will rapid prototype the form for you and ship it to you for assembly and creation. Allowing for a any size and shaped object to be materialized.
epilogue
So the future of 2019 will feature less techie baggage to haul around, more social interaction, and expanded virtual possibilities.
Play worlds will be created with a bit of real and a whole lot of imagination. Kids will find that their imagination can actually become reality right at their very own fingertips.
