A Light at the End of the Tunnel by Brenda McDaniel

A new year is here! This past year, our nation has again exercised our freedom and democracy through the election process. Although these have been and remain politically turbulent times, we have also shown kindness, caring, faith, hope, and love. Yes, we have seen division, hate, and bigotry while believing in lies instead of truth, doubting experts, scientists, and doctors instead of trusting in knowledge and truth. All while enduring one of the worse pandemics the world has seen. But the times, they are changing. Most people are and have been for the last year, fighting for each other’s lives, doing what the experts say is necessary to defeat this pandemic. And now, in the New Year, there is finally a light at the end of the tunnel!

Our hope relies on several drug companies developing a cure or shot for COVID-19. But this isn’t a cure-all. We still have to be diligent and mindful of others in everything we do in public. It will be a hard fight, but we will overcome. With the help of our angels here on the earth. The scientists, experts, and medical Angels, etc. We must also keep hope, faith, in ourselves and others, and our Savior Jesus Christ. And have love, which is the greatest of these. And with love, all of us can live a Life Worth Living!! Instead of an empty, worried, lonely life, and being a lost soul. Our Lord has given us forgiveness and genuine love. He soothes the broken heart, the depressed, and the lost. And He replaces all the pain and hurt with a peace that surpasses all human understanding.

So, make this New Year’s resolution. To live a Life Worth Living! This can be done only with the help, love, and forgiveness of our Savior, Jesus Christ. He is the true Light of this sinful world and his love is the true Light at the End of the Tunnel. Reach out and be filled with the Light of our Savior Jesus Christ. For he is with us Even Into All Eternity!
