othing teaches the love of Christ more than having a child and becoming a parent. Examining John 3:16 we learn that, “For God
so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life” (NIV). This is one of the most quoted bible verses of all time and for good reason. This verse clearly illustrates the sacrifice that God made so that we would not be doomed to eternal damnation but have everlasting life in Him. Let me say it again, He sacrificed His Son, for us. As parents, we love our children as God loved Christ. Anyone who has had the incredible and miraculous opportunity of holding their newborn can’t help but be filled with a love like no other. It is a deep love, one that teaches us that our own sacrifice is not really a
