DISTRIBUTION AND READERSHIP

COHERE is published quarterly in March, June, September and December. Readers find it at highly-visible distribution points around the city, including newsstands, public places, restaurants, and other businesses. We place at Visitor Information Centres throughout the East Kootenay region, and in select centres in Calgary, AB and Spokane, WA, USA. Each issue has a print-run and distribution of 10,000 copies. Readers are artists, crafts people, business owners, residents and tourists who live, work or shop in Cranbrook.

ADVERTISING TERMS & CONDITIONS Rejection and Editing of Advertisements

The Cranbrook Craft Company may, at its discretion, edit, reject or cancel at any time any advertising submitted by an advertiser. Advertisers and/or their representatives indemnify the publisher in relation to defamation, slander, breach of copyright, infringements of trademarks, unfair competition or trade practices, royalties or violation of rights of privacy and warrant that the material complies with all of the relevant laws and regulations and that its publication will not give rise to any rights against or liabilities in the publishers, its servants or agents. It is the responsibility of the client to submit their logo, business details, any photos or text before the deadline of the last Saturday before the publication month (Publication months: March, June, September, December), and to make final selections of proofs before publication deadlines.

Positioning of Advertisements

The Cranbrook Craft Company shall have full positioning latitude on all advertisements except those with contracted positions.

Only one business may appear in each advertisement space unless otherwise approved by The Cranbrook Craft Company.

Liability for Errors

The Cranbrook Craft Company makes every effort to ensure the accuracy of this publication and assumes no liability for any errors that arise during publication. The Cranbrook Craft Company shall not be liable to any advertiser for any loss that results from the incorrect publication, positioning or omission. Some production qualities may appear different in the print or web version of COHERE Magazine for many reasons. The Cranbrook Craft Company is not responsible for those differences. The Client will be provided up to two proofs before publication deadlines. Additional proofs will be an additional charge of $85. The Client is responsible for approving a choice of proof before the deadline. If no proof is chosen, the last proof submitted will be published. Publication times for COHERE Magazine may vary.

Payment

Ads will go to print after payment has been received. An invoice will be emailed to the client after receiving the signed agreement. Invoices must be paid as described in the invoice. A maximum of two proofs will be offered free of charge. Additional proofs $85 each. Full year contracts include two designs per year. Additional designs can be purchased for $85 each. As evidence by the signatures of the sales representative and the Advertiser, the parties intend that a binding contract has been created. Payment is due upon receipt of invoice unless prior account arrangements have been made, regardless of Advertiserâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s business closure, location change, event cancellation, or any other adverse event that might otherwise prohibit the Advertiser from the intended benefits of advertising in COHERE Magazine. In the event that the Advertiser fails to make timely payment, The Cranbrook Craft Company may immediately cancel all future orders for advertising and charge 18% annum late payment interest fee per overdue invoice.

Ownership of Advertising Copy

All advertising copy that represents the creative efforts of The Cranbrook Craft Company and/or the utilization of creativity, illustrations, labour, composition or material furnished by it is and remains the property of The Cranbrook Craft Company, including all rights of copyright therein. Advertisers cannot authorize photographic or other reproductions, in whole or in part, of any such advertising copy for use in any other medium without the express written consent of The Cranbrook Craft Company. Ownership of ads created by The Cranbrook Craft Company can be purchased.

Cancellations

The closing time for cancellations or ad booking changes is the last Saturday of the month before the next publication month (Publication months: March, June, September, December). A cancellation charge of 50% will be made for cancellations made after this deadline, or if artwork is not supplied in time for publication.

Miscellaneous

Placing of an order for advertising either verbally or in writing is construed as an acceptance of all rates and conditions under which advertising space is sold at the time by The Cranbrook Craft Company and such order, when accepted by The Cranbrook Craft Company, shall constitute a contract. The Advertiser recognises and understands the artistic nature and content of COHERE Magazine and that it may include explicit or controversial material, and as such the Advertiser agrees to hold the Publisher harmless from any and all claims in any matter resulting from said contents of COHERE Magazine.
