Year 3—Greek Workshop

The girls in Year 3 had a fantastic Ancient Greek workshop this week. They learnt about the roles of men and women during this time and had a debate about where they would like to live, Sparta or Athens! They then worked in teams to find information and answer questions about the Ancient Greek life for a quiz. They put their acting skills to the test by acting out some Greek myths and in the afternoon the girls had the opportunity to try on some Greek armour, looking at the different weapons used in battle. We finished the day by taking part in our very own Greek Olympic Games. What a fun and exciting day. We learnt so much.

Year 6

Within the RE topic, "Unity", Year 6 identified the values that make a good friend. The girls then wrote a poem encapsulating these thoughts.
