Hockey National Finals - Last 8!

Our U13A hockey team did superbly well at the National Finals on Monday. The team won 3 of their 4 pool matches, including a dominant display against Millfield. In the quarter finals, Cranmore lost 1-0 to Taunton, the school that went on to be eventual tournament winners. Cranmore can be very proud of their effort, having secured 3rd in the Regionals, the team finished the Nationals as the highest ranked Surrey school. Well done boys!

Hockey matches have also taken place this week against Thomas's Battersea, KES Witley, Danes Hill and the U13s are playing Downsend tomorrow.

The U14s rugby 7s team played at the Rosslyn Park 7s on Tuesday and faced some tough competition. Two great performances produced two wins against worthy competition, Brentwood School and Caterham. Last Friday, our U12s 7s team played at the Surrey 7s festival. The adverse weather meant skills were truly tested but Cranmore produced some great performances. Our U13s Rugby 7s team played in the Rosslyn Park 7s festival yesterday and hope they had an enjoyable experience.

The cross-country squad featured at the Danes Hill U8 to U13 event on Wednesday with Cranmore having some outstanding results.

The refurbishment of the indoor cricket nets is now complete which has included the extension of both the tracks and nets maximising the use of our 5 indoor cricket nets. Also, we now have 2 outdoor portable cricket nets and a new side screen ready for the cricket season ahead.
