Words from the President. Julian Blair Watkins
Greetings Brothers of Gamma Mu, ! I anticipate that everything is well with all of the brothers during this holiday season. As we enter the holiday season, we must remember to give thanks to the Heavenly Father for all of his blessings. Last weekend was a wonderful weekend of fellowship and to conduct the business of Alpha. During ANCA, our chapter participated in three competitions, Miss Black & Gold pageant, Brother of the Year, and Brother with the Highest GPA. Our current Miss Black & Gold, did not place, but she performed to the best of her ability and we can not ask for more on her behalf. During ANCA, I ran for Brother of the Year. Sadly I did not win, but I will take this experience and learn from it and try again next year. Although, I did however win highest GPA in ANCA. As we all know Alpha is very costly towards the chapter. During this conference the chapter has currently exhausted our funds due to registration fees. In order for us to have intake next semester, we must payout our insurance fee of $900. As a chapter, we are doing our best to raise money through raffles and selling food to student as well as teachers and other events, but we are not sure if we will raise all the money by ourselves. So I am coming to EVERY past brother of Gamma Mu in this letter, asking everybody in the spirit of brotherhood to please give what you can to help the chapter. We are in dire need of support from everybody. The chapter will be setting up a pay pal account on tomorrow. Information about the pay pal account will be sent out tomorrow as well. Sincerely, Bro.
