BOOKLET INTRODUCTION any people in Nepal do not go for a comparative Religious study. Moreover, those who do also keep themselves limited to Hindu Holy Books. Whatever they might have achieved from the study, still they are unable to find out the root and the real conclusion of the Hindu religion. As a result, the Hindu intellectuals have not been able to include today's new generation in reliable and trustworthy details. On this context, the intellectuals, no matter how learned they are, they just can say, "We are Hindus." And when they are asked about the deep-rooted questions about Hinduism, they will be dumbfounded. And, if it remains this way, then this generation is sure to fall into the ditch because every intellectual just describes his or her own sect. In this situation, the youths are incapable to discern what is right and wrong. This booklet, written by scholar Jiwan Sharma, has been published to contribute this issue since he has had a good study of Hindu scriptures since he was a child, including Veda and Gita. In the comparative study of the scriptures, he has brought forward the Bible as the ultimate truth which has revealed Jesus Christ as the only savior. And, he has concluded that only Jesus has indisputable evidence that apart from him no one can lead us to God. He also has clearly described that the other religious books have jumbled up the minds of the people. He further says that there is no other way for the people of world than to follow 'Jesus Christ and to understand the truth of the

AUTHOR'S INTRODUCTION or Christians in the Eastern Nepal, Jiwan Sharma is a familiar name for everybody. For the last few months, he was physically unhealthy. He has tried to express his bitter experience of his life including his life testimony in this booklet. He is the founder of the 'Reach Asia Ministry'. He aims at preaching the good news to the people of villages, plain lands, hills of the continent of Asia on foot, nevertheless the rain and clouds neglecting the extreme heat of the sun and unto the places where sun never shines. He is a warrior among many who set the goal to reach the unreached places with the gospel on foot and living a dedicated life for God. He has taken the theme from the Bible saying 'There is joy in giving rather than in taking'. He has been a source of happiness and inspiration for all people; from a hut to a palace, from fool to wise and from a child to old.

F

BIRTH: He was born on the 14th August, 1950 (B.S. 2007 Shrawan 30) in a village of Tehrathum District called Aatharai, Ibahoda of East Nepal to a Brahmin family. His mother passed away when he was just seven month old in the city of Dharan, so he was deprived of mother's love. !Syntax Error, *

CHILDHOOD: Being born into a Brahmin family, getting up early before sunrise, bathing, reading Chandi and Gita were the daily routine of his father which did not keep him (Jiwan) aside from the rituals and it caused arouse many questions like "How can I become a pious man?"

ADULTHOOD: (an indescribable incident) He was sent to the teachers (gurus) who knew Chandi, Veda and Astrology thinking that when he knows what a sin or crime is then he could become a master in religious practice. The demise of his father, when the author was of 11, left him alone and the dream of his father was unfulfilled. Now, to !Syntax Error, *

fulfil his father's dream was his responsibility. He abandoned his home to become pious man as his father had wanted him to be while he was alive. Even after forty years, still he could not find the root of the religion. In fact he was under sin and transgression. He became very hopeless from the rites and rituals so he went to a coalmine at Meghalaya, India to earn money and live peacefully. One day, while they were at work, suddenly the mount fell upon the workers. Six of his friends died and he was left on a verge of life and death. In this state of life and death, he had to live on street garbage. His only friends seemed to be dogs and flies to accompany with him. His whole body was stinking and rotten. He started hated himself. Seeing no hope of living, he was thinking to die and get freedom from this sorrowful life. But, unexpectedly, he met a little girl. Seeing his miserable situation, the girl started praying to God whom the writer had never known before. "I know you do not like the things that you made to go wrong. In Jesus' name, save my uncle. Amen". That little prayer of faith was answered and he is still alive. The powers of the world tried to destroy him. Their works were to deceive, rob and kill where as the little girl planted a seed of hope in him to live. Who was the God of this girl? Who answered her prayer? In fact, He was Jesus. He realized that the God he had been looking for all his life was Jesus. His spiritual eyes were !Syntax Error, *

opened so that he knew Jesus who saved him from the deceit. When he found Jesus as the source of salvation (freedom) through the girl child then he started reading Bible and searching for more things. As a result, today he succeeded in becoming a good evangelist telling good news of salvation to the people. Since he committed his life to God, insufficiency, persecution and challenges have never been stopped coming to his life in serving the Lord as pastors, evangelists and teachers. He suffered all those hardships. While preaching gospel of Jesus in Burma, he was sent to jail for five days and five nights. He was put among the seven pythons. He was poisoned five times. He was taken to the slaughterhouse to be slaughtered and was made to stand on a bayonet. They tied him to a railroad to be run over by train. He was also kept in ice for very long hours. He fell into the hand of thieves and robbers, and he also was imprisoned for twenty-three months. Apart from these incidents mentioned above, it was last year, January 3, 2002, he met an accident with truck while travelling on a bus from Lahan, and he was hospitalized for 26 hours as isolated in hospital (BPKIHS) at Dharan. His right femur (thighbone) including his knee was broken into 54 pieces. The doctor told him that there was no way except amputating the leg. Although (according to the doctor) he was strictly suggested to take a complete 1-year bed rest, he was well and healthy within six months. He was able to walk !Syntax Error, *

again. It was absolutely a great miracle from God. That is why it is a request to the readers from the author not to fail to receive the free gift of miracles and blessings from God.

RELIGIOUS STUDY hile studying Veda, I had read, "Sacrifice is the only one way for salvation". In Sanskrit, it is said "Dharmadi prathamani": in the first step of our salvation, sacrifice is vital for us. Since sacrifice is in the initial step as our Holy Book points out, the salvation we are searching for can't be found in religions or practices but in sacrifice itself.

W

And, the Bible explains this way in Lev.17:11, "For the life of a creature is in the blood, and I have given it to you to make atonement for yourselves on the altar; it is the blood that makes atonement for one's life." !Syntax Error, *

As Veda tells us about sacrifice, the Bible also clarifies about the sacrificial blood. The aim of both Veda and the Bible is 'life is in blood so everything that has breath can be saved by blood'. Rom. 3:23, "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God." We wander around the world in search of God's glory. And, it is everyone's wish irrespective of tribe, language and every creeds wish is this. Rom. 6:23, "For the wages of sin is death, but gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ." Even though man travels 33 billion places in search of his hope to live, still his hope can be fulfilled. There is only one reason behind this; you did not go to search for where you supposed to go. I made mistakes while reading the religion books so I searched for salvation in places where I should not have gone to. As a result I had to spend 40 years running after religion and its practices in search of the true salvation that I had read. Everyday I thought about one thing, "How can I be saved from sinking into the ocean of sins and wrongdoings? Can this disease of sin be healed by going on a pilgrimage, fasting, meditation, giving alms etc?" I was depressed because of all these situations. Then I got a kind of feeling in my heart to study Veda. It is written in Veda, "Yagyai sarbam pratithistam". This means everything is achieved through sacrifice. This verse tells us that religion, practice, donation, meditation or pilgrimage can't save us but it clearly says that salvation is only through Sacrifice. Oh! I had been deceived here. I understood that the thing which I search !Syntax Error, *

can be found only in the place if it is written or told about it. In the Bible, Hebrew 10:10, "By which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all." I read furthermore in another section of Veda, "Yagyan wa dewa diwagata" which means only God reached heaven through the sacrifice. My goodness! We must leave sacrificing everything thing to go to Heaven. What a big deception! Religionpractice, pilgrimage and fasting are just a way of loss of time as well as money. In Ephessians 1:7, we read "We have redemption though his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace." In Veda "Hritasya na pathinaya aji bishwani durita" (through sacrifice, receive redemption). The words from Veda led me to knowledge. My study has not yet finished. Now, reading the other religious books (scripture) has become my passion. My sleep has departed from me. My spirit felt very sorry as well as amazed at myself for being deceived. John 11:40, "You do not realize that it is better for you that one man die for the people that the whole nation perish." It is written in Bhagwat Gita "Sahayagya: praja: hristwa purowacha prajapati: Anena prasabinyahawameshyawo hriwatwasta kamdhuk." In the beginning, when God created man he sacrificed and said to the man, "Let it fulfil your every !Syntax Error, *

heart's desire." In Gen. 1:28, God blessed men and said to them, "Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air and over everything creature that moves on the ground." In Mandakopanishad we find, "Plawa hriyate adrida yaksha rupa" It means wood named for sacrifice remains silent. The same silence in the New Testament Bible is written, Mt. 26:62-63 "Then the high priest stood up and said to Jesus, "Are you not going to answer? What is the testimony that these men are bringing against you?" However, Jesus remained silent. The high priest said to him, "I charge you under oath by the living God. Tell us if you are the Christ, the son of God." In Skanda Puran under Yagya Baivabh, it is written "Plawa hriyate sura yaksha adridascha na shasaya:" meaning is Oh! heavenly host, the sacrifice is silent as the wood of a boat. In Tandab Brahman, "Yagyo wa awani tasya chaya hriyate" which means only sacrifice gives us freedom. Whatever is done is just a shadow. Our holy books define salvation this way. Though the defined King is seen alive in the Bible, why should we be deceived? Mark 10:45, "For even the son of man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many." In Tanday Brahman of Sabed says, "Prajapati: dewemya aatmanam yagyam kritwa praichat:"- God Himself gives for sacrifice and receives forgiveness for sin. !Syntax Error, *

In Satpath Brahman, we can read, "Prajapati yagya:"God himself is a sacrifice. There is no end to search for peace if our heart is not contented with all the proofs as said before. Hebrew 9:13-14, "The blood of goats and bull and the ashes of a heifer sprinkled on these who are ceremonially unclean sanctify them so that they are outwardly clean. How much more, then, will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself unblemished to God, cleanse our conscience form acts that lead to death, so that we may serve the living God!" Satpath Brahman says, "Tasya prajapatirdharmewa martyama sidartha marutam" In light of this topic, I Corinthians 15:49 defines it this way, "And just as we have borne the likeness of the earthly man, so shall we bear the likeness of the man from heaven." or he himself being man and God. Hebrew 7:25, "Therefore he (Jesus) is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them." Hebrew 10:14, "Because by one sacrifice he has made perfect forever those who are being made holy." As written in Purusutta, "Brahmadevlai balidan garincha"-the things written above tries to prove that who frees us from the prison of our sin and transgressions. God sacrifices Himself and saves us from the wages of sin: death. Romans 4:25 "He delivered over to death for our sins and was raised to life for our justification" !Syntax Error, *

2 Cor. 5:21,"God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might be come the righteousness of God." Gal. 3:13,"Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: "Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree." Gal. 4:5, "to redeem those under law, that we might receive the full rights of son." It is written nowhere that through religion and practice there is forgiveness of sin. Our Holy Book defines that our sin must be forgiven in the first place. My attempt for searching went furthermore and I understood that things searched for can be found. All at once, my eyes fell upon a word "sacrifice" in Rig Veda. Every word written there was just opposite to our work, as we trusted in religion and devotion. This was the sign of the saviour who could free us from our sin and wickedness. I am bringing these things to you. Rig Veda defines sacrifice as, "The one who comes to free us from sin and redeem the world, and he must fulfil the nine laws over sin and wickedness." It is written in Matthew 5:17, "Think not that I came to destroy the low, or the prophets: I have not come to destroy but fulfil." And the nine laws written in Rig Veda about sacrifice is as follows:1) 2) 3) 4)

The animal should be spotless lamb. Thorn of Bulushu should be put around its head. It must surely be taken to the altar of sacrifice. The four feet should be nailed until bleeding lasts. !Syntax Error, *

5) The cloth covering the lamb should be shared by four ecclesiasts. 6) Not a single bone should be broken. 7) The lamb should be given vinegar to drink. 8) It must come to life after being sacrificed. 9) Its flesh should be eaten. 

SEARCH FOR PEACE Learning all these things, I went in search for a saviour who was described in Veda about pilgrimage and fasting in hope of earning goodwill. I received pain-trouble and persecution. Nevertheless, wherever I went to, I was deceived instead of living serenely. In fact, my reason for searching a saviour was for peace. Facing a lot of problems, swearing and threatening from the police officers, and robbed by the robbers, I finally reached Meghalaya, India for coalmine work. Now, since I was betrayed not only by religion and ritual but also from everyone. I was forced to do every work. Not only extract coal but I also worked everywhere and everything. Though I earned money, I could not find peace. I searched for peace in alcoholism but what I got was sorrows and pains instead. I was unable to put on the clothes on my body. For sake of shoe, I had a plastic shoe costing 15 rupees which was stitched in 17 places. I did not have money to buy a pair of new shoes. My 33 billion god-goddesses could not help me. To put my hope on them was to be cheated myself. That is why "The one, who says I come to destroy, cannot give life." One day, while working altogether with eight people, a big mount of coal fell upon us so six of my friends died there. I was the seventh one and the eighth mate brought !Syntax Error, *

me out of the heap of coal. My whole body seemed dead from a point. I had no hope of survival. The doctor advised me not to take medicines any further and he said, "You have very less hope of surviving." After few days, my body worsened and started to stink. Pus and blood overflowed through mouth. Fearing that my disease will be transmitted, my friends did not dare to come near me. Whenever I was having a burning sensation because of unbearable pain, I wished to die. I started to hate myself. Whenever somebody came to me, I pleaded them to kill me. Dogs and flies became my friends. But, they also were with me with a selfish reason that they would fill their belly full. I was in such a situation that I could neither die nor live. I felt that I was living as a burden on the earth. Though we may not have hope least, I have read about a person of whom I have mentioned earlier. Who was he? Where can I meet him? Could the things which were spoken about come true? It seemed to me like an incessant rain of questions screaming out from my soul. I got this feeling every time so I could not sleep. One day, while I was looking for a way to end up my life myself, an elderly man came near to me and said, "Brother." The word 'Brother' was said in my mother tongue. It seemed to be very soothing and very passionate. I lifted up my head and looked. I saw a very old man standing with his eyes fixed on me and I said to

him, "Brother have mercy on me and kill me with a single blow. I want to die." "Can a man live or die in his own free will?" he said smiling. Saying this he expressed his feeling to take me to his village. "Has no disease shown up in your village so you are taking me to spread mine to other people there?, I said. He gave no answer. He just only kept smiling. His silence showed that he would like to take me with him. I followed him quietly. Our journey lasted for five long hours. The road was not that long but because of my weakness. We reached his home. He had five sons and three daughters. The youngest daughter was seven years old. When we reached to his house, they started talking in Khasiya (in their language). I had once heard from somebody that Khasiyas eat human flesh. They were talking in a strange language which I did not understand. I got troubled. I thought I was brought there not with a good intention. Still many things swept my mind like the waves of an ocean during a high tide. I wanted to die and so I thought that my will was going to be fulfilled soon but this dream was not fulfilled. They were not talking about killing me. But they were talking to help and save me. While I was still thinking about it then I fell asleep. Next day, a 7-year-old girl, with a glass of warm water in one hand and a towel in the other hand, came to me. She started cleaning my pus and blood filled rotted body. I was amazed at such care and love of the little girl. !Syntax Error, *

The big and the strong ones, who vowed they would live together with me, were far away in my needs today. How could I not be amazed, when a child who is unable to clothe herself, comes to care me?

I FOUND THE REAL JOY THIS WAY

he girl's childish yet vital feeling drew me toward an extraordinary environment. She started cleaning my smouldering wounds. She started cleaning my stinky wounds slowly and carefully. I could not make out about her brother and sisters whether they were teasing or teaching her because they were standing in a distance and speaking a strange language. She was talking, smiling, and playing. She might be thinking that she could finish cleansing my body but it seemed like a beginning. As I felt my body gullied with pus and blood, touched and cared by the soft hands of her I wondered within myself. I began to think how such selfless love came in her heart. I am neither their kin nor relative, still such an unselfish love!

"Indeed, God did not send the Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him." John 3 : 17 After she finished her cleansing my body, she requested me to stand on my knees. Since I could not !Syntax Error, *

understand what she said, she herself stood on her knees and gestured me to close my eyes. I agreed to her and did what she suggested me to do. The little girl said a very short but effective prayer for me. She prayed, "Lord you don't like the things go bad which you made, and in the name of your son Jesus Christ heal my uncle and save him. Amen." Before her prayer ended, my body was shaking and I felt like thousand of bugs running inside me.

After half an hour, I felt the coolness of peace like the coolness when Vicks is applied on body. And I had a feeling of cure. I got laughter instead of crying and coolness instead of pain. How this happened? Many questions arose in my mind. The girl could not speak in my language so I asked her father, " Which God does you daughter worship? If you know that god you can tell me because I would like to see him once." He laughed at my question. !Syntax Error, *

After a few days, the brother (girl's father) gave me a very old book, probably of early days. It was the 'New Testament'. And, he said to me, "The God my daughter believes is in this book." He advised me to read it. As I started reading, I found out the truth. Veda, Bhagwat Gita, Mandakopinishad, Skandha Puran, Rigveda, Samved, Purushottam talked about a saviour and he was the God my healer. Through the little girl, I received the true peace that day and freed me from the clutches of sins. And, God made me righteous. I am safe today from the deceit of this world. Are you searching for truth? Do you wish to receive peace? Have you become hopeless searching for peace in vain like me? Keeping these questions away, let us talk about peace. If you seek peace, you will find it as I also did. You also can uncover the peace. Now we will go though the nine laws that a saviour should fulfil and which was mentioned earlier. 1) This animal should be spotless lamb. This person was sinless Son of God. The one who commits sins cannot free us from sins as our scripture Veda says the first sign of the King who is to be sacrificed. Like the Veda talks about a saviour, we find in the Bible Luke 1:35, "And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon you, and the power of the highest shall over shadow you; therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of you shall be called the son of

!Syntax Error, *

God." Luke 1:37," For with God nothing is impossible." clarifies the saviour. 2) Thorn of 'Bulushu' should be kept around his head. The person was crowned with a crown made out of thorn. The second sign of a saviour, as our scripture 'Rig Veda' says, has to be crowned with a 'crown of thorn' which we do not find in our god and goddesses. That is why until now people are searching for the second sign; we wandered among 33 billion ways. Still it is not in sight. But in the Bible John 19:2, "And the soldiers placed a crown of thorns, and put it on his head, and they put on him a purple robe." 3) It must surely be taken to the altar of sacrifice. Since the man is drowned in curse, his punishment is only death, and if he is to be saved from death, someone has to substitute him and take the cup of death upon him and the dying man can live. On this context as Veda says, 'King must die for the man drowned in sin and wickedness. In Luke 23:46, "And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into your hand I commend my spirit; and having said this he gave up the ghost." The third sign was fulfilled by Jesus Christ, which our scripture has talked about. 4) The four feet should be nailed until bleeding ends. !Syntax Error, *

As sin is in blood so the life of a human is in blood. And, blood that should be shed for freedom must be no more left in the body. As this is done for the acknowledgement for sin and the Veda says that the four feet should be nailed. This person is not mentioned in our scripture. But in the Bible Isaiah 53:5, "But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed." Luke 23:33, "And when they had come to the place, which is called Calvary, there they crucified him, and the malefactors, one on the right hand, and the other on the left." 5) The cloth covering the lamb should be shared to 4 ecclesiasts. The cloth represents righteousness. The ecclesiasts here actually means a preacher or a person who preaches. The message of salvation should be shared to four directions. Mk. 16:15, "And he said unto them, Go unto all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature." Jn. 19:23, "Then the soldiers, when they had crucified Jesus, took his garments, and made four parts, to every soldier a part, and also his coat; now the coat was without seam, woven from the top throughout." Lk. 24:47, "And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem." !Syntax Error, *

6) Not a single bone should be broken. This is the sixth sign Rig Veda talks about the bone to be unbroken. Bone signifies God and nothing should be broken of God neither be crushed. The bone is made in support of the body, and the bone of salvation described here is Holy that is why Veda says it as 'unbreakable'. Rom. 8:1-2, "There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For the law of Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus had made us free from the law of sin and death. In John 19:30, "But when they came to Jesus, and saw that he was dead already; they brake not his leg." 7) The lamb should be given vinegar to drink. Lamb signifies a person who is to be sacrificed. Vinegar represents the bitterness drunk by a person in place of another. And when the vinegar is drunk for a person, it is that this person's freedom is passed to the person for whom the vinegar is being drunk. Since we are in the bondage of Sin, we did not have hope at all but God made a way, drinking our sin himself, gave us holiness and we became righteous people. Matthew 27:48, "And straight way one of them ran, and took a sponge, and filled it with vinegar and put it on a reed, and gave him to drink." Hebrew 9:28, "So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation." Verse 22, "And almost all things are by !Syntax Error, *

the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission." Is. 53:12,"Therefore I will divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; he cause he had poured out his soul unto death; and he was numbered with the transgressions; and he bore the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressions." 8) It must come to life after being sacrificed. The Eighth sign: the lamb must come back to life (resurrection) after being sacrificed. One who gives himself to be sacrificed for freedom, then this person's life should really be like God or like the life of God. The scripture Veda's eighth sign means, "He will come back to life after death." We have never seen or read until now that in 33 billion gods that one come back to life. In search for a saviour, we have looked through 33 billion gods in vain. However, the 'sacrificed king' as Veda says; has not been found yet. During Tihar (Hindu festival), we take a message from house to house and say, "We came as the order of the 'sacrificed king'. This saying also confirms that the king who was sacrificed is living. Mk. 16:6,"And he said unto them, 'Do not be frightened. You are looking for Jesus of Nazareth who was crucified, he is risen; he is not here; behold the place where they laid him." 9) His flesh should be eaten. !Syntax Error, *

Many people get confused when they read about the flesh to be eaten but it is still the saying of Veda. When Veda itself says that the flesh should be eaten we cannot deny this. To save the child his mother feeds from the breast from where the milk is produced by the flesh, so to be purified or to repent from our sin, we must eat the meat from the holiness of God. Mt. 26:26, "And as they were eating, Jesus took the bread, and blessed it, and broke it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, take, eat, this is my body." John 6:35, " And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that comes to me shall never hunger and he that believes on me shall never thirst."

urushutta says, "Nanya pantha bidyatedaya nyaya:" Except the creator who sacrificed himself no one can go to heaven though he might do thousand of good works. When I read this statement Bible I found that Jesus Christ fulfilled this requirement as mentioned in other books such as Skandhapuran and many other books. Moreover, I realized that I found a new way in my life. Billions of people have been deceived like me while in search for salvation. For the people cheated the entire world, I have a short experience of it. I have tried to reach the people through this booklet (Have you been betrayed like me?t for those who have been deceived. Unknowingly I wasted my 40 long years in betrayal. You will find something where it actually is. It is foolishness to search something saying, "It is there" where we can't find it. When our holy scripture points out that Jesus Christ is the only sacrificed saviour, it is alike as going against God if we say no or say that we can go to heaven if we do good works. The will of God to forgive our sin in 1Johnn 5:11-12 where it says, "and this is the record, that God had given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that has the Son has life; and he that has not the Son of God has not life." God is life as the Scripture says. Mt. 28:6, "He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come see the place where the Lord lay." It is also said in another place; Mk 16:6, "And he said unto them, be not affrighted: You seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified; he is risen; he is not her: behold the place

where they laid him." The same Jesus Christ is alive today also. The dead cannot heal the sick and cannot lead to heaven for they do not have life in themselves. Another thing, a sinner cannot make another sinner receive forgiveness. He only can grumble in lie. Today we are in the hands of liars going after religions and its practices. Many times, we have been deceived by saying we have a Hindu religion. In fact, there is no such thing called Hindu religion in any scripture. One thing is clear. People living in Hindustan (India) are Hisdustani (Indian), people living in Nepal are Nepali or Nepalese, people of Tibet are Tibetan, people of Bengal are Bengali and people of Sikkim are Sikkimese. I have not found any religion identified with nationality like Nepalese religion or Bengali religion. Nowhere in any scripture has the religion taken by people of Nepal been written as Nepali or Nepalese religion nor I have seen Bengali religion. So how did it become Hindu religion? This unusual cheating and betrayal is taking us to devastation. In 40 years, with the wish of finding the root of the religion and its practice; not only did I face many problems but also wasted my money and my precious time. Ps. 121:1-2, "I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from where comes my help. My help comes from the Lord, which made heaven and earth." Our help comes only from the living God. Once, while I was travelling by a bus, I met a friend. He said, "Brother why do you preach foreign religion?" I !Syntax Error, *

felt little awkward in answering his question. And I also felt shy for what ever he had worn were all imported garments. In addition, what ever he ate was imported foods. When he had not any queries about food and clothing stuffs, it is obvious for me to feel shy when he protested about religion. And the religion he practiced, it also was an imported religion. I have not heard of Nepali religion. If Nepalese follow Hinduism then that is also a foreign religion. Second thing, I do not preach about any religion, but I preach about God's free gift of freedom and salvation which is 'God's love.' John 3:16, "God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believes in him shall not perish but have an eternal life. For God sent not his son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved." To believe in Jesus Christ is not as believing in a religion as our scripture says, but to receive freedom and salvation. Jesus himself said in John 14:6, "I am the way, truth and life. No one can come to the father except through me." Ex. 3:14, "Then God said to Moses, I am that I am and said again 'Say unto the Israelites, I am sent by the one who says, 'I am.' 

AN IMPORTANT DECISION

W

hen I found the real peace, God revealed me it as it is mentioned in the scripture. And having a strong sense of my main responsibility, I decided to reach every tribe with the free gift of freedom and salvation through this book. How can a real peace save us? The way for being saved from the ocean of sin and wickedness is has been clearly described in this booklet. Romans 8:1-2, "There is therefore no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For the law of Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death." John 15:3, "Greater love has no man than this that a man lay down his life for his friends." How can we compare God with religion who gave his life freely for man? John 6:40, "And this is the will of him that sent me, that everyone who sees the son, and believes on him, may have everlasting life and I will raise him up at the last day." John 6:45 "It is written in the prophets. And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that has heard, and has learned of the Father, comes unto me." God will make your safety fence with shining gems and your main gate with precious stones. God will teach your sons and your daughter will receive great peace. God made this great plan to be all us his children. !Syntax Error, *

John 1:12, "But as many as received him, to them he gave power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.'" And God says, "You tired and heavy laden, come to me, I will give you rest." The word of God made me healthy in my previously mentioned physical weakness and feebleness of my body. To save me also from poison - Mark 16:18, "They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any hands on the sick, and they shall recover." I am proud of the authority that God has given to me. Luke 10:19, "Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemies and nothing shall by any means hurt you." Nothing could harm me. That's why I am still alive today. For the main reason I believed in Jesus is as in Romans 10:9, "That if you shall confess with your mouth the lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you shall be saved." Rom. 1:16-17, "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believes; to the Jew first and also to the Greek. For there in is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written the just shall live by faith." Recently, I met an incident. I was on a journey to Kathmandu by bus which, on the way, was collided with a truck heading from Janakpur; at Lahan. God gave me life back again as I was dead for 26 hours. Seeing the circumstances, the doctor suggested amputation of the foot for it was broken into 54 pieces from foot to the !Syntax Error, *

thighbone including knee. However, the kind Lord made my leg as it was before and today I can walk properly.

Rom. 6:23, "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ." Ac. 4:12, "Neither is there salvation in any other; for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved." Jesus is waiting for you saying Rev.3:20, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any men hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me." Ac. 3:19, "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord," Jn. 17:3, "And this is life eternal, that they might know you the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent." Again Jesus says, "I am the light of the world, those who follow me shall never have to walk in darkness but he receives the light of life." !Syntax Error, *

FROM CURSE TO BLESSING want to share my testimony of the time after I asked Jesus to come into my life. Right after 2 days of my Baptism I was sitting on a pile of wood, I had a dream of the girl through whom I had received Jesus. Although she had gone out with her mother to the Bazaar that day, I saw her in front of my eyes holding the Holy Bible in her hand and saying out to me, "Uncle till yesterday you said you knew not a single thing. Take this Bible and you'll know everything." When I came to my senses, I realized it was just a dream.

I

Joel 2:28 "And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams your young men shall see visions." In this way, through that girl's prophesy I could see a vision. In Luke !Syntax Error, *

24:45 "Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scripture." Then again I saw a vision about my school where one day while I was sitting on the last bench of the class and the Principal came to me saying, "as you are last today but someday you'll be first. In Luke 5:10 Jesus said, "Fear not; from here forth you shall catch men." God showed me the way according to His plan. Many incidents like these occurred in my life but I haven't mentioned here. On the 5th day, I heard that a lady was unable to give birth to a child and it had already been 7 days. God led me there and when I prayed, God helped her bear the child and she gave birth to a boy.

Jn. 14:13 "And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the son may bring glory to the father." !Syntax Error, *

Since everything came true what Jesus told me and I followed Jesus leaving everything. I faced many troubles, fought against winds and weather, spent many nights in rain. One night, I spread 3 bricks and slept on it without eating anything. I had nothing except the Bible but I was very joyful because in John 3:16 it says "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only that who ever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." Why the will of God was made Rom 3:23 says "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." When word 'All' is used it literally is talking about each one of us as sinners. In John 3:3, "In reply Jesus declared, I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again." In 2Cor. 5:17 "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation, the old has gone, the new has come!" All these things were done by God who brought us into unity with him through Christ and gave us the fellowship of unity. I reached the same place where I was thrown away by the people. They believed I won't live anymore. When I took the message of salvation to the people God himself did many miracles through me that the dead children rose again. I was a Brahmin for 40 years and I am ashamed of it because when I was a Brahmin I never told the truth to the people. How could I tell others since I myself had not received the truth. When I met Jesus, God who did not know sin became sin for me so that I may be God's righteousness. And !Syntax Error, *

from that time I started writing Jiwan Chettri as my name. In my view "There is not a single Brahmin who doesn't know the way of salvation." 'Brahma' means truth. John 14:6, "Jesus answered, 'I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the father except through me". "When I walked in this message of happiness, it really helped me. I had no single penny but God provided me Rs 1000. This was very amazing because in Bible Mathew 6:19 says "Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal." I carefully hid Rs 500 in my pocket and the other 500 between the pages of the Bible. Unexpectedly, while on the journey some rogue gave me poison and took away the money which was hidden in my pocket. But the money I had kept in the Bible was safe. It is written in his words, "They'll catch serpents and even though they drink poison it will not harm them." And while in preaching I was taken to be slaughtered and once became a target for two rifles but according to Jesus Christ's words in Marks 10:30, "‌will fail to receive a hundred times as much in this present as (homes, brothers, sisters, mothers, children and fields—and with them persecution) and in the age to come, eternal life.

Thanks to be God, though everything was robbed off of me that I had, God gave me more than I had kept in God's store. When I preached about the peace of God to the people who took me for slaughter that they may receive life through the Bible they couldn't raise their hands upon me because God caught hold of their hands. Even the bullets in the rifles failed and I was saved. They finally said, "Without a sacrifice, our khukuri (a sharp sword like weapon) won't return to the scabbard." So they killed chickens and welcomed me. And the next thing what they did was that they handed me 10 rupee note and asked to forgive them while departing. !Syntax Error, *

Beloved, He will surely save us from the hunter's trap and fatal tradition. Once I was returning being hopeless after searching for job in vain, suddenly I heard a sound in my ear saying "No one can serve two masters. For he will hate one and love the other." I was thinking of serving the Lord through the job. I realized I had to choose either the world or God. I believed it would be the best to follow the Lord. For Mathew 6:33 says that everything will be added unto us if we seek the kingdom of God in the first place and secondly his righteousness. What a surprising thing that men work 24 hours a day to earn money, and attain happiness and search for peace. People search night and day for the one who can forgive their sins. These are the only questions that linger in their mind.

!Syntax Error, *

One day I closely looked at what I was doing in Eccl. 2:17, "So I hated life, because the work that is done under the sun was grievous to me. All of it is meaningless, a chasing after the wind." I made a vow right at that moment with God that I will serve him all my life whether I get to eat or not. I will follow him at any circumstances. After I had taken the vow, God called me to Meghalaya where I made a promise between Jesus and me. John 6:54 "Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day." I reached into my pocket and found Rs17. I looked unto God because Meghalaya was 700 km away from Nepal and he showed me a house. So I went up to this house to get whatever God would give to me from that house, may be a traveling fare, but to my astonishment I found that they had not eaten food for 2 days. When I saw this situation, I gave away the Rs 17, so that they could buy rice and calm their hunger. I then departed from them and reached Keran, a place of Bengal, traveling 3 days and 3 nights. On my journey what God provided as food was roots of touch-me-not plant. I ate them in the name of Jesus. I was neither hungry nor thirsty. Sometimes I met cowherds and I shared them about Jesus Christ. For Jesus has said, "I will give them eternal life and they shall never perish."

I was filled with joy and happiness when I shared the eternal word because they were also filled with joy when they heard the good news and they would receive imperishable life. Satan made me suffer for 28 days. But, one day the victory was before me. I really reached Meghalaya. God provided me everything what I needed and I took part in God's flesh and blood (Holy Communion). I reached furthermore ahead to Nagaland and thought of going to Kohima but I did not have the Inner Line Permit (ILP) and I had no idea where to get one. My clothes were simple. I had torn shoes on my feet, long hair and beard. I looked like a beggar or a mad man. Incidentally I approached a gate and said to the soldiers, "I am from Nepal and I want to go to Kohima but I have neither a passport nor do I know a place where I can get one. Let me go or give me my pass or you can sit down to listen to God's word." When I had !Syntax Error, *

finished saying this, they carefully looked at me but did not answer but put me into a truck to Kohima. This was very amazing incident. For everything I was doing, I had to pay the price right at that time. But only the name of Jesus forced the Iron Gate to open wide. What an amazing promise of God! Jesus says "I won't leave you as orphan." According to him "We are Christ's ambassador and being his ambassador he provides everything." I reached Kohima. I did not know where to go. I was a stranger in this place. God spoke to me, "I will provide everything for you. Do not worry." Mt. 5:26 or Lk.12:24,"Consider the ravens: They do not sow or reap, they have no store room or barn; yet God feeds them. and how much more valuable you're than birds!" or "I tell you the truth, you will not get out in the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your father in heaven." I met a sister who took me to Pastor Muktinath Sharma of NBC where I stayed for 3-4 days and wanted to go ahead further. He scribbled something into a paper and gave to me. It was a map and direction for the journey. He also handed me some money for the journey and I departed from there. I reached a place called Fusuro where God gave me a vision. He told me not to go any further. Jesus said "Behold I will send my Father's promise unto you but until you receive the power, stay in the city. My dream was like this; someone was giving me gold coins in one coin the figure 2 was printed and figure 1 in the other coin. He turned and looked at it turning over and there was an Indian Royal Crown print. I said, !Syntax Error, *

"Oh! Lord I will seek you with all my heart, do not let me divert away from your laws."

Many incredible things happened with my prayers. I did not forget what God told me. I immediately returned. I knew that whoever obeys the law will be rewarded and I did not want to lose that reward which he had kept for me. I came to a place where I had never been. It was a place where people fasted for 40 days. God had asked me 21 days fasting. And I stayed there for 21 days in prayer and fasting. For 15 days I was very helpless and weak because it was related to hunger and !Syntax Error, *

thirst. On the 16th day, I received the baptism of the Holy Spirit and on the 17th day I saw a dream. Some men were praying and I felt their prayers were not right. I was teaching them the right way to pray. On the 20th day I was covered with a coat.

God was saying that everything had been kept in it. "I will give you the keys to the kingdom of heaven. Whatever you shall bind in earth you shall bind it in heaven and what ever you let lose in earth you will lose in heaven." Then I left that place. My faith grew stronger because whatever God told me was in the Bible Ac 10:3, "One day at about 3 in the afternoon, he had a vision. He distinctly saw an angel of God, who came to him and said, 'Cornelius.'" One who takes God's name shall be saved. From that place I went to Dimapur where two children were seriously ill when I reached. I prayed for them and God healed them. To fulfill all the laws as said in Josh 1:8 God truly healed them and rewarded me too. Jesus says, "Rise and pray and do not enter into temptation." Thanks to be God. !Syntax Error, *

For this perishable character shall pass unto imperishable and mortal body for eternal. Then only the words will come true." Death has been swallowed in victory." I was blessed this way and my savior made me faultless.  My dear ones, I request you to fear God. For those who fear him shall not fall in needs of anything. Rather a young lion becomes hungry but one who seeks God shall not have scarcity of good things. It is a great wealth in his mercy for us in Jesus Christ. That is why we have the right to be called the children of God. Then from there according to his commandment I set forth to various places in Nepal to share the Gospel: Baglung, Piuthan, Gulmi, Arghakhachi, Myagdi, many places of Parbat and I had to face many pains and problems. I was cast out from where I was living, got my food snatched away. I spent many days along the banks of river and caves. I had to go under thousand of swearing, scolding and much persecutions made me abundant in his blessing. Jesus says, "Listen to God's words and give your ears and love it, and it will lift you up and glorify you. More than anything else keep your heart safe for it a life giver." I chose the greatest wealth as to be persecuted for Christ than to achieve the joy, peace and wealth of the world because I had set my mind for reward. I was transformed from curse to blessing. !Syntax Error, *

Once when I was being persecuted a lot, I reached Darjeeling where I met a brother whom I had met in Delhi Bible Building. We had undergone a foundation course in Bible and I had reached on my journey of Gospel preaching. After one week I left that place and came to Shimla of the Himanchal Pradesh. There I met some missionaries. Some were Canadians and others Americans. I shared the Gospel for 10 days at that place. But instead of listening to the gospel they made fun of me and sent me off. I think they were very wise so it was better for me to be a fool before God than to be wise before the world. I became like a fool but merciful Lord showed his mercy upon me and He also provided me with money from that same place. Thanks to be God. When I was traveling, I met an American missionary who was also traveling in the same bus which was heading to Delhi. Then God spoke to me, "Make arrangement of his ticket too." I thanked the Lord for the privilege that I could provide a ticket to the one who had treated me that way earlier. Matthew 5: 44, "But I tell you: love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, .." And this way my curse broke and changed into blessing.

Still being persecuted I came to Bangalore one day. I served the Lord there for 3 months. It was absolutely strange country for me but everybody was equal in God. I went to S.G.M. Office, the day I reached Bangalore. They welcomed me with morning tea and breakfast then they sent me off with 20 kilos of tracts. I had already 1520 kilos of tracts and booklets. I did not know where to go that day but still I was moving ahead. After 7 long hours of walk I was completely exhausted. Then I said to Lord Jesus that there is no hope of seeing any house nearby but if you provide me a tree I could take rest in the shade. After I had just finished praying, he sent me a child of about 6-7 years of age. And this child was talking to me in Hindi. Then I asked him, "Is there any Church !Syntax Error, *

around here?" He answered gently to me, "Over there." I felt as if the boy was speaking in tongues, which had happened in the days of the apostles that can be found in Acts 2:8. When I reached the Church, a fat lady with a dark complexion was staying there. When I reached near her, she talked to me in Tamil which I only understood 'Praise the Lord.' Then I think she asked me where I was from and what my intention was. And I said to her, "I don’t understand your language, I only know Hindi and Nepali, and I am from Nepal." After a while the Pastor arrived who was her husband. Then they brought a man who could just speak broken Hindi. It was Thursday and they had Bible Study there. God gave me that time. Then I shared my life testimony and told the reason that I had come to Bangalore. I had to stay 3 months for my school and I needed a room to stay for that long period. And it was impossible to get a room there since I was walking in the name of the Lord. He made that Church my home and I got the chance to serve the Lord there for 3 months. After 3 months, God provided me everything from the same Church and sent me to the school. When I went to the school, I had to face many problems. But, God's grace was upon me for everything. If we are together in his death then we will surely be together in his resurrection with Christ. These words really encouraged me to be strong. When I went to the study room every word pointed out to me and since my life was not as it said in the word and I only secured 10 out of 100. No one was happy for me. I was the one to secure the lowest score among 250 others and every one !Syntax Error, *

mocked at me. But I rejoiced. Days went by accordingly and my study's time period was coming to end, I always wanted to stand in every word and according to school's law one who scores 10 points should rewrite it 20 times, and I wrote it 20 x 4 times plus 10 and altogether the sum of 90 times. Finally, everyone's reservation ticket was made but I waited for the Lord. In the meantime, the Principal called and told me about my returning after a short while. I told him that I did not have the ticket. He advised me to fill up the railway form and bring to the office. When I had filled up the form and went to submit it to the office, the office in-charge questioned me whether I had come to school to study or to ask for money. I was hurt by his words. I went to my room and cried for a long time and prayed humbly. "Lord you know that I have not come here to beg for money but I am really sad for your son accused me of this". And when I requested the Lord that I did not want to take the ticket, he heard my prayer and they were not able to hand me the booked ticket for Graduation Campfire was held that night. It was 1 o'clock at night, God called me for his work. I got up only after the third calling and came out of my room. Right in front of the gate was a Night Super Coach on standby. I got into this bus without delay and it moved as soon as I got into it. I was reading Judges 6:14, "I am the one who is sending you. " And, Ex. 20:6, "I will show love to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my commandments." !Syntax Error, *

Because ones who has a heart to serve the Lord, God's sight is always upon them in all their days on earth. Lord says, "Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever." The bus reached Bangalore. And at 3 AM in the morning I heard loud voices praising and worshipping in a Church and I went into it. I did not have any money. God suggested me to pray and I started praying. In answer to my prayer the brothers and sisters had gathered some offerings. After they had given me lunch, they gave me Rs. 700. The Lord opened my door this way. And when I reached Madras, I went to a Hotel since I was hungry and asked for a plate of food. When I opened my eyes after I had thanked the Lord for food, there was a completely naked man before me and he was looking at me. I asked him, "Do you want food?" He gestured nodding in appreciation. Jn. 15:13, "Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends." The food was very important for me but the word of God compelled me to share my love with him. Mt. 25:35,"For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was stranger and you invited me in‌.." I did not see the hungry man but was Jesus Christ himself. In this manner the curse disappeared and I was blessed. What an amazing God's plan! In Genesis when God had created man, he blessed everything. Gen1:26, "Then God said, Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, !Syntax Error, *

and over all the creatures that move along the ground." or " But when man forgot God's word then he was cursed." And to free us from the curse the son of God Jesus Christ sacrificed himself for our sins although Jesus did not know any sins. Rom.6:23," For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Jesus Christ." To take this Good News to Tibet, I traveled through Kashmir and came to a place called Sanomarga (narrow passage). Many Nepali brothers and sisters who went to Ladakma to work got killed by the snow slide. This news made me hopeless and I prayed God to show me the way. In the meantime, I met many Nepalese workers who were forced to work because of poverty. I met around 3,000 people. After I had stayed for 3-4 days, I preached them that they could receive Christ. Many of them believed in Him. After 4 days, I started on that dangerous and tough journey up the Himalayas. There were Tibetan Lamas and women traveling with me. After we had walked 8 hours up the hill we had to face the violent snow fall.

There was not a single way. Thirty of us were surrounded and among the 30, seven of them were women and the rest men. God led me to talk to them when they were crying and troubled in fear. I said," In this situation neither your Buddha nor any religious leader can save us from this suffering. But I know a man who can save us all and I serve him, he is Jesus Christ. "Jesus has said, I am the way, truth, and life. I came to save not righteous but the sinners." "I have the authority to forgive sin." When I had told them about Jesus Christ everybody said, "We will believe the Lord, pray for us." I prayed to the Lord. The Lord miraculously opened the way for us and we reached a safe place. had carried enough food, blankets and mattresses. On the other hand I had not carried anything even a single pair of glass while walking in the snow. But I had only the Bible for my survival kit. The bible has defined it this way, in Job 5:22, "you will laugh at destruction and famine, and need not fear the beasts of the earth." This scripture powerfully worked for me. After 9 hours, we reached a place where an army was on a survey for making road. Seeing my condition, they asked me, "Don't you feel cold?" I answered, "No." They were amazed hearing this and asked again, "Why do you not feel cold?" I said, "I have put on Jesus Christ so I don't feel cold." This was just my answer. God changed their mind and the commander ordered the driver to take us all into a warm place. We find in the Bible, "For God has given as this commandment to take the salvation to the other corner I have appointed you to be light for other tribes." I had a stand upon God's appointment, people saw this and I was taken there representing the Lord. I was appointed to tell the people how Jesus Christ died, was buried and rose again on the third day. I never was disappointed to tell this truth. He still speaks out to me." Cry out to me and I will answer, I will tell you the things that are unknown and hidden to you." We safely reached a warm place. The place was known as Kargil. We left that place the next day and the Lamas believed in Lord Jesus Christ the same day of our departure and they were saved in Lord. We happily reached Ladakma. The place was covered with snow and foods were hardly found. I was in great trouble for the !Syntax Error, *

Hotels were very expensive and I neither had a blanket nor mattress. At that time I did as Jesus said in his precious words, "Seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all things will be added unto you." So it came true. God provided me food and shelter in that foreign land from the people whom I had never met before in my life and never expected so. How beautiful are the feet of those who take good news/gospel to the people? Thank you Lord, for you never failed to help me in those hours of sufferings. I stayed there 22 days preaching the gospel. Many Hindus, Buddhists and Muslims turned to Jesus and believed in Him. There was a foul smelling coming from my body since I had not bathed for 22 days. The clothes, I had worn, had all been very dirty and I did not have any spare clothes to change. People did not want to come near me. I met a Christian family on my return. They welcomed me and I stayed there for 1 week. God again provided me clothes, soap and water. They served the Lord and were blessed. I also received blessing from curse. While returning from there God led me to Burma. When they heard about my destination, they gathered some traveling fare for me. I did not separate the part which belonged to God from that I had received. This mistake nearly took my life. While preaching between U.P. and Bihar border, some of the brothers had given me poisoned food. And, they threw me in railroad naked after they had taken away everything from me. God sent Railway Police as his angel to help me and they took me !Syntax Error, *

to the railway hospital where I gained my consciousness after 30 hours of therapy and medical course.

I was surprised to find that I had nothing with me. Then I started to pray. The railway staffs handed me a letter and put me on a rail cabin. I came to Dimapur. I was saved for 5 times from food poisoning. These all came to pass because of God's love. Jesus said, "Though you drink poison in my name, they will not harm you." and nothing could harm me. The things I had lost returned back to me with much more added than before. Then I started my journey for Burma. I found out that it had the population of about 25 hundred thousand. I was desperate to preach the gospel. I could only see them in front of my eyes and one thing always crossed my mind that if they die without being saved, they will have to go into eternal fire. That is why I wished to reach !Syntax Error, *

them as early as possible. My door was opened only on the third time of my trial. After 15 days of praying only, I received the permit to go.

In my vision, I saw that the whole of Burma was swallowed by a tornado. Many people and animals were carried away by the tornado. The vision scared my life because the only thing that was playing in my mind was that I was searching for a way to preach the gospel of Jesus for those people immediately. I moved on ahead preaching the gospel. I only had a small Bible and some currency of that place called "Chyat" with me.

There were 3 other people with me. They were on a vehicle and I was on foot. When I reached the 7th gate, !Syntax Error, *

they caught me and interrogated. I told them that I had come to preach people of this land about Jesus. Since it was a Buddhist nation and preaching other religion was not legally permitted. Because of this issue they cruelly put me into prison in Burma for 3 years. When I reached in the prison, I found out the truth that I could do nothing except crying. The food for one person was distributed among 5 people. Only 5 liters of water was given which had to be used for washing up, washing clothes and drinking also. In the name of curry, old leaves of yam (sweet potato) dipped in lukewarm water was given. The name salt and chilly was almost extinct. For the name sake of blanket and mattress there were nothing except planks of wood covered with bedbug and the soft music of mosquitoes buzzing in our ears. People may have looked naked to the bedbugs for they even attacked during the day and we were forced to bear everything. The skins seemed rotten and raw. They would whack until 5-6 sticks would be broken if we asked for medicine. They also used to keep man eating snakes (anaconda).

Some were made for satan's sacrifice and witchcrafts were also used to kill people. When I saw all these, my eyes overflowed like an ocean with tears. I lost my sleep. The only thing that I could do was praying continuously. God encouraged me to pray so that I would not fall into temptation. I had a fasting prayer. When they heard that I was on a fasting, they took me to the house where they had kept the anacondas. I was nearly fainted. I was put in the middle of 7 deadly snakes.

When I was trembling hopelessly with fear I remembered Christ my Savior. He was there to help me. He showed me a hand before me. That hand was holding a whip. A voice spoke out to me, "Hold and whip the snakes for I have given you the authority over them to whip." When I held of the whip it seemed like my body was on fire and I was breathing out flames of fire. The snakes fled away and I was safe. The Bible says, "There is no Law of punishment for those who are in Christ." That's why not a single power could punish me. Praise the Lord! They took me even to the house of evil and Satan. They also were unable to harm me. The people were amazed and were saying, "What kind of man is he?" A remarkable incident which really made me scared. They stopped my food. Then I started fasting prayer again. When 8 days were passed, they sent 8 strong men !Syntax Error, *

to break my fasting. But, they were thrown away by the power of God from which ever direction they attacked me. The same day the neck of the idol of Buddha, the god they worshipped, was broken and the head was separated from the body. After this incident, many high officials, wise men and ministers came to see me in that prison and it was a great opportunity for me to tell them about Jesus. I told them that there is no source of salvation except Christ. I also told them that the happenings that they saw on me can only be done by Jesus Christ. And they did not permit me to stay on fasting and I was successful in completing 66 days of fasting prayer. I started to rejoice thanking the Lord for he says "Though mountain or hill may be moved but my love for you will never be shifted nor my promise of peace be broken." I believe this was the first experience in my life that I had so much joy and happiness. I was the only Christian to celebrate Christmas of 1998 in Burma. When I started to pray with fasting, God not only gave me joy but he started giving me children too. Men got baptized inside the jail. God transformed all the sufferings gradually into blessings. In 1998, I was successful in baptizing 200 people. This was very difficult work for men but a piece of cake for God. In this way, I was able to get hold of blessing from curse in Burma. I was neither able to shave my beard nor get hair cut for 23 months since I spent most of the time with God. You can have a view of my picture in the cover of this booklet. It was my 23 months prison fellowship. In the end, because of the prayer of !Syntax Error, *

many, 7 Christians from different nations came to see me when my second fasting prayer of 21 days had ended. But in this fasting prayer, there was also one friend along with me who was from Bangladesh. When we had completed this, we celebrated Christmas greatly. God gave us an opportunity to start a new church. Seeing many people coming to Christ day by day, the Government of Burma was informed and they shortened my 3 years imprisonment to 23 months and released me honorably.

Isn't this an amazing thing? I was able to collect abundant blessing when I trusted in the Lord and there was no such words to describe his blessings. When I came out of the prison, another incident occurred. I was travelling on Himali Travels which is a night bus to Kathmandu. The bus was collided with a truck which was heading towards us from another direction at Lahan. For 26 hours, I was in a state of death without sense but still the loving God healed me. My leg was broken into 56 small pieces. Doctors had recommended me to amputate it. But God gave me back my leg as it was before. Is not this an amazing thing? If this is not curse turning into blessing than what is this? I have got my foot back as it was before and I am still living. !Syntax Error, *

Those who met an accident along with me are still very hopeless but God has completely made me healthy. Thank you Lord for your amazing grace! The Holy Bible says, "God not only loves me but every tribe and the gift of that love is Jesus Christ." To those who believe in him shall be separated from curse and sin and he wants to give life and a life that is peaceful like mine. You should have to call him into your heart and believe in him. Bible says, "If you accept with your mouth and believe in your heart that God raised Jesus from the death than you are really saved." I will remember you all in my prayer everyday. Now, I am serving the Lord after going through all these hardships because I got the gospel of Jesus Christ from a seven years old girl who spoke to me with words of full encouragement which was the free gift of God. May God Lord Bless You. Amen.

"This is the one and only way." Beloved brothers and sisters, greetings! It is really an important matter to know about our Heavenly Father and Heaven who created us. In the beginning God created the heavens, animals that live on earth and their food and gave authority to rule over them. A man created in the image of God should lead as God and to work as a representative. But man did not like to become the representative of God and went up against God bringing his own will before everything. To oppose God is to sin. Man became sinner and the wages of sin is death. But to walk according to God's will is the man's righteous-will because God made the man righteous but the man disliked walking in the will of God and became a sinner for everyone sinned and could not reach to the glory and righteousness of God. That's why God made a way to save the man from the great pit of sin. That way is to return to God through Jesus Christ. But returning to God for a man there are some certain rules that a man should fulfill. So it is an opportunity given to a man to choose good from the bad. But man has tried 33 billion ways but still a failure which proves that the way they took was wrong. And God made the right way an easier one. And to fulfill the law God made a spotless man. And according to the law it was blood for blood and eye for an eye, and Jesus shed his blood in our place and corrected the defiled law. So be freed from the sin believing in Jesus Christ. It's written in the Bible, "The wages of sin is death. But the gift of God's grace is eternal life in Jesus Christ." Friend, would you choose death remaining in sin or life coming to Jesus Christ? This important decision is in your hand. Thank you.
