Roadform Ltd are Building and Civil Engineering Contractors with offices in Cork and Dublin. We place a strong emphasis on performance, quality, safety, teamwork and a “hands-on” management approach to ensure customer satisfaction.
We recognise the importance of trust, certainty, conformance and value to our clients and can be relied upon to deliver projects safely, on time and on budget. Roadform Ltd have been developing medium to large scale infrastructure projects since 1998. Managing Director Martin Murphy started and developed the business from initially plant hire contracting to now developing construction projects for numerous clients and local authorities. We have now built a reputation as being a civil engineering contractor of choice for pipeline construction, wind farm development, bulk excavations, road & bridge building, groundworks, utilities installation and reinforced concrete contracts. Our workforce and modern fleet of plant and equipment are readily mobilised allowing us to undertake projects nationwide. Our priority is to establish and maintain strong relationships with our clients. We achieve this through our progressive attitude and innovative problem-solving approach to all projects. Contract Details: This project consisted of the Design & Build of a new bridge structure to replace a collapsed masonry stone arch bridge on the L40582 road. The construction element entailed the provision of a temporary access road during the construction period, excavation of the existing bridge and the installation of 10 ton precast concrete box culverts along with the construction of stone parapet walls to the new bridge replacement structure. Protection of the water course and the requirement to allow the stream to flow unobstructed was prioritised throughout the construction phase. Roadform Ltd carried out the role of PSCS for this project.

Contract Details: Roadform Ltd carried out the civils and groundworks contract on this green field site development for the construction of new 4,385sqm 2-storey postprimary school for 325 pupils. The project consisted of the construction of classrooms, laboratories, special needs unit, PE Hall, social areas, administration rooms, stores, toilets and other ancillary spaces, with outdoor play courts, car parking and associate site works.

Contract Details: The project consisted of the Design & Build of a reinforced concrete bridge structure to replace a collapsed masonry stone arch bridge on the L4074 road. The works included the preservation of an original stone parapet wall believed to be in the region of 150 years old. Our temporary works system allowed for the construction of reinforced concrete walls and a new bridge deck whilst maintaining the original stone parapet wall. Protection of the water course and the requirement to allow the stream to flow unobstructed was prioritised throughout the construction phase. Roadform Ltd carried out the role of PSCS for this project.

Contract Details: The project consisted of new carriageway construction and realignment of a regional road while keeping public traffic flowing throughout the contract duration. The Civils works entailed traffic management, demolition, tree felling, bulk excavation and fill, drainage and culvert construction, liaising with landowners, construction of new boundary walls, perimeter fencing and landscaping of the project on completion.

Contract Details: This project consisted of the construction of 10 two bedroom apartments in a two storey block and a detached two storey ten bedroom children’s care home. Roadform Ltd completed the site clearance, pile mat construction, pile capping and ground beam and ring beam construction as part of the civils package. Contract Details: This contract involved the installation of 4.2 km of 38KVA underground ducting and cabling. It also consisted of the construction of insitu jointing chambers along the route. The route consisted of 2.9km in greenfield and 1.3 km on primary public road. This road had to remain live at all times through active traffic management. The purpose of this cabling was to connect Rathcahill Windfarm Tournafulla, Co Limerick (IRE) to the national grid.

Contract Details: This involved the installation of a 450mm pipe for road surface water drainage over 200 linear metres in Kilkenny city. Works were carried out around live services and involved the supply of plant, labour and materials. Setting out, engineering services and traffic management were also provided by Roadform Ltd. Contract Details: This contract involved the construction of an over ground waste water treatment tank with a capacity of 3,600,000 litre. Our contract involved the supply of plant, labour and materials. Works involved the supply and fixing of 140 tonne of steel, the supply and placing of 1,500 m3 of concrete, 300 linear metres of contraction joints, 500 linear metres of water bar and 2,200 m2 of formwork.

Contract Details: The details of our contract involved the supply of plant, labour, materials and setting out of levels for the construction of a new road junction on the Blarney Rd, and 350 metres of a single carriageway link road to service 104 residential units on a green field site. The project consisted of bulk excavation of 30,000m3 of rock, rock crushing and screening for reuse. Main drainage, water mains, ESB, telecom, gas for house services, public footpaths, boundary walls, slip form kerbing, road paving and the construction of storm water attenuation tank. The earthworks in this project were completed for a proposed site for 104 units which were linked to the Blarney Road with the new link road.

Contract Details: Construction of an underground car park capable of accepting 70 parking spaces along with bin-stores/bike shed/service areas and two lifts the basement covers the whole footprint of the first 2 blocks. 9000 cubic metres of excavation took place before the piled foundations of up to 17m deep took place. An intricate system of ground beams/pile-caps and in-situ reinforced frame was constructed below high water level. A sophisticated dewatering system allowed construction to continue during heavy rains and high tides throughout the winter.

Contract Details: The details of this contract included the construction of 2.6 km, 150mm high pressure gas pipeline which was a branch off of the main national gas pipeline to supply Wyeth Pharmaceutical Factory in Askeaton. For this project Roadform were the main civil contractors and Roadform's contract was the stripping and benching of an 18meter wide 2.6km way leave through fields, trench excavation, pipe ditching, back-filling and spread reinstatement. Murjoys contract was the connection to the existing main line by means of a hot-tap, 2.6km of pipe welding and construction of an AGI at Wyeth’s.

Contract Details: The details of this contract included the supply of all management, plant and labour for this project. This project consisted of realigning of the existing road from the M50 link road to Firhouse School which was approximately 500meters long including the construction of new water mains, storm pipeline, gas and eircom services, a new bus corridor and cycle path, new kerb lines and the paving of the realigned road. This construction work was carried out while keeping the traffic free flowing to and from the M50 interchange.

The project consisted of laying storm and foul lines from an existing treatment plant through the Curragh army barracks and the Curragh village. Contract Details: The details of our contract were the supply of site management, plant & labour for a section of drainage on the Cork Main drainage scheme. This consisted of the construction of 1.2kms of two 1200 diameter, ductile iron sewer lines which were in the one trench. The sewer lines were laid on 900m of a public road and 300m in green areas. The majority of the trench depth was from 8 – 10 meters deep. All excavated material was disposed of off site and the trench was backfilled with stone, the complete road was also reinstated, we also excavated for a pumping station which was 8 meters deep in rock.
