EXTRAORDINARY EXHIBITION ARCHITECTURE

A WALK THROUGH THE ROUGH LANDSCAPE OF LE BRASSUS – HOME OF AUDEMARS PIGUET. A BOLD DESIGN STATEMENT AND PRIME EXAMPLE OF CRAFTSMANSHIP.



MADE OF STEEL

CONSTRUCTION OF A COMPLEX SUPPORTING STRUCTURE IN STEEL

THE DESIGNER’S IDEA OF TOTAL ASYMMETRIC, GEOMETRICAL SOLID, WITH UNUSUAL ANGLES AND SURFACES, HAD TO BE ADDRESSED BY OUR SPECIALIZED ENGINEERING TEAM. THE SOLUTION WAS A VERY COMPLEX CONSTRUCTION MADE OF 18 TONS OF STEEL. NOT A SINGLE PIECE HAD THE SAME DIMENSIONS. LIFTING THE FINISHED STRUCTURE TO THE FINAL HEIGHT INSIDE A HALL WAS BREATHTAKING FEAT OF ENGINEERING ACHIEVED WITH THE USE OF 14 LIFTS.

GOING TO THE LIMITS OF CARPENTRY

WITH SKILLFUL HANDS, THE NATURAL WOOD RESOURCE CAN BE TRANSFORMED INTO ALMOST EVERY SHAPE. THE LIVING MATERIAL RADIATES A FEEL GOOD ATMOSPHERE AND – IF PROPERLY DONE – EFFORTLESS LUXURY. THE UNIQUE BODY WAS PRE-FABRICATED IN SEGMENTS BY VERY SKILLFUL CARPENTERS AND RE-ASSEMBLED ON SITE IN GENEVA.

TO REALIZE THE DESIGNER’S VISION OF THE THREE DIMENSIONAL COMPLEX SHAPE, THE ENGINEERING TEAM FOUND AN INGENIOUS SOLUTION: THE COMPLETE STEEL STRUCTURE WAS COVERED WITH FABRIC TO ACHIEVE A SEAMLESS, PERFECTLY EVEN SURFACE.

FORMED OVER MILLION OF YEARS IN THE SWISS ALPS – THE VALS STONE IS A STRONG, BOLD, YET FRAGILE MATERIAL WHICH REQUIRES PROCESSING WITH VERY SKILLFUL HANDS AND SPECIALIZED TECHNIQUES. THE MATERIAL IS KEY IN THE PRODUCT PRESENTATION AND REFLECTS THE FINE SKILLS USED IN THE ART OF WATCHMAKING.

«LA DÉGUSTATION DU TON – THE SOUND TASTING»

UNPARALLELED SENSORY EXPERIENCE AUDEMARS PIGUET’S CONCEPT WAS INSPIRED BY THE PROCESS OF WINEMAKING. THE VINGNERONS OF THE REGION HOLD VINE TASTINGS IN THEIR STONE CELLARS – BUT INSTEAD OF WINE, OUR CLIENT WANTED TO TASTE THE SOUND OF THEIR GRAND SONNERIE WATCHES. «LA DÉGUSTATION DU TON − THE SOUND TASTING» WAS BORN.


In close collaboration with Audemars Piguet, Creative Circle further developed the idea to the final concept of the ÇSonnerieĂˆ. Based on the retail and exhibition design it was realized as a unique multimedia acoustic chamber with sophisticated technical installations. The complete construction is engineered to be used as roadshow all over the world.

AT THE HEART OF EVERY RETAIL OR EXHIBITION PROJECT IS THE PRODUCT PRESENTATION. IT IS THE STAGE FOR THE PRODUCT. SO WE MAKE USE OF EVERY TECHNIQUE AND TECHNOLOGY AVAILABLE TO MAKE STUNNING PRODUCT PRESENTATIONS.



A STRIKING ACHIEVEMENT

Creative Circle further developed the Audemars Piguet Retail Concept, which was launched in 2014 and implemented it in over 50 projects worldwide and designed and built a groundbreaking booth at the SIHH 2015. The design is a bold statement, which concentrates and modernizes the shapes and lines inspired by the rough beauty of the Vallee de Joux. A selection of sophisticated materials were used to build this 1100 m2 logistical masterpiece inside an exhibition hall including 20 sales offices, a press room, collector's room and acoustic lab. The elaborate, computer guided light and climate control system, created a luxury feel at home atmosphere and let the customer concentrate on the stunning and delicately designed product presentation.

A CUTTING EDGE FACADE THE ARISING OF A LANDMARK FINDING WAYS TO IMPROVE BRAND RECOGNITION IS ONE OF THE GREATEST CHALLENGES FACING THE CONTEMPORARY RETAIL ARCHITECTURE. THE GOAL IS TO CREATE A LANDMARK, AN ICONIC SYMBOL OF THE BRAND, WHICH CAN BE SEEN FROM FAR AWAY. THE SHEER SELECTION OF MATERIALS AND SHAPES MUST BE ENOUGH TO BE RECOGNIZED AS THE BRAND.

THE BIRTH OF A DISTINCTIVE, REVOLUTIONARY AND AVANT-GARDE RETAIL DESIGN

The creation of a complete new, full customized store design, which was implemented worldwide in more than 50 locations. The global logistics and production workflow has been developed, implemented and run by our offices in Bern and Hong Kong. Unique

shapes and materials which reflect the brand's heritage, highly functional custom furniture as well as lighting and valuable artistry, were integrated in an intelligent shop design to achieve the ultimate buying experience for the customer.


Production and worldwide logistics are two of the key competences of our Asia offices. The team is able to manage the entire process of production, quality control and strategic coordination of the international shipping. The third key competence is the supervision of retail implementation projects in the entire Asia and Pacific Region. The team works as a hub to coordinate the involved parties such as architects, constructors and so on. The team guaranties as a result, all deadlines to deliver on time the projects, with the highest quality finish expected.

The Swiss design of the packaging line was engineered in very close collaboration with our Asia office to meet the high requirements regarding practicability and cost efficiency in production. The timeless design was finally executed within different materializations to match with the different product lines. Thanks to interchangeable inlays, the boxes could be used for a broad range of products.



INSPIRATION LIES WITHIN EVERYTHING AT THE BEGINNING OF EVERY DESIGN STANDS AN IDEA. WE GATHER INSPIRATIONS FROM ALL OVER AND AS A RESULT, WE DERIVE AND CONCENTRATE AN ESSENCE, WHICH IS THEN DEVELOPED INTO DESIGN.



CREATING A HOME FOR THE BRAND

ETERNA HAS A STORY TO TELL - IN IT’S 150 YEAR OLD HISTORY, THE MANUFACTURE CAME UP WITH COUNTLESS INVENTIONS REVOLUTIONIZING THE WATCH INDUSTRY. With the launch of the Baselworld 2015 lounge, we combined the rich heritage with the look of a modern, future-ready watch manufacture and made the brand ready to address the Asian market. The 600 m2 lounge in Basel was the first step to implement a brand new retail identity.



PAVING THE WAY FOR THE FUTURE To be set for the future, Creative Circle was commissioned for a complete re-launch of the brand with a new visual appearance at Baselworld 2014. The concept consisted of a new lounge including showcases, product presentation and as centerpiece, a brandworld wall that also held the entire collection. The design combines tradition and modernity. It is inspired by an old watchmaker cabinet and with the use of modern shapes and materials, it created a base for the development of the new retail identity.
