Mr. Johnathan Ernest Marsan, Sr. Mr. Johnathan Ernest “Red” Marsan, Sr. of Virginia Beach, VA was born on February 2, 1950 in Elizabeth City, NC. He departed this life on Friday, December 21, 2007. He is the son of the late Albert E. and Mary Ward Marsan. He was a beloved father who was loved dearly by all those who knew him. One of his joys in life was the song "Sing Me a Song about Jesus". He was a faithful worker in the iron industry for many of years and a member of the Local 79 Iron Workers Union in Norfolk, VA. He is survived by his sister, Brenda Mohr of Clarmeont, FL, brother, Jessie B. Marsan of Norfolk, VA, sons, Johnathan E. Marsan, Jr. of Denver, NC, Justin Marsan, also of Denver, NC, former wife, Diana Marsan of Ashland, OH, three grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
