Investigation of a robotics company’s CEO’s murder unveils the secrets of an unseen worldwide threat as Organic citizens gradually vanish from the Earth to be replaced by Synthetics. The late CEO's executive assistant Melinda has a much bigger role in Organic humankind's survival, than she ever wanted, when she realizes that she is the conduit for messages from Humankind's future.  Hyrot Oble story is based loosely of Heidi Roth’s fiction book, which has been published in Finnish. The core team members are author, screenwriter Heidi Roth and director, producer Harri Haanpää. The script for the pilot episode has been made. The treatments for the seasons two and three have been finished as well. English and Chinese translations of the books are due in 2019. This unique story starts as a traditional Nordic noir murder mystery but develops more towards psychological Sci-Fi. Hyrot Oble creates a similar storyline than in Westworld and will answer to the most profound questions what people are, but in its own twisted way.

In an alternate universe, the unbreakable human spirit is put to the ultimate test as a Rogue Planet threatens to destroy life on a imaginary earth as we know it.

DreamMill productions has been involved in 75 TV series and programs, including the most legendary TV shows aired in Finland. Commercial film productions are made in Los Angeles, Milan, Helsinki, Spain, Thailand and Egypt, to name some of the more prominent locations. Feature film projects are being developed with producers from Los Angeles, New Zealand, Singapore and Finland. Our aim is to develop and produce TV drama series and feature length film projects for the world markets.

This story is about ordinary people achieving extraordinary feats for humanity and for love. World is getting close to extinction, caused by unknown threat. Four people have the ability to take advantage of the unlimited power source, but only if they are finding the way to work together. People from very diﬀerent background have to find a way to understand and communicate with each other in order to prevent catastrophe.

DreamMill is currently looking for a coproduction partner and financing for Hyrot Oble TV series and financing and distribution for the first digitally painted feature film called Once in a Blue Moon.

It tells the story of five of the best professional gamers in the world, sent to the northernmost part of Europe, Lapland, miles away from the civilized world, to face their greatest challenge: an unbeatable AI. Not only do they end up stuck in a surreal Lapland village, with security cameras everywhere and inhabitants who all seem scared of an unknown threat, but they also have to play in an arena precisely reproducing their environment, to its smallest and creepiest detail. Lost in the sleepless days of an eternal sunshine, our young heroes are plunged into the twists and turns of an icy thriller, where the virtual and the real world seem almost impossible to diﬀerentiate. And every time they lose one more game, the AI sends them the same message, written in white on the black screen of their defeat, like an odd mantra: “Thank you for playing. It was fun.”

Teemu Nikki, a director and a filmmaker and Jani Pösö, a producer and a writer, met for the first time in 2001 through commercial work. In 2007, they wrote and produced their first fiction, a short film titled ”A Mate”. It got nominated for over 50 film festivals, including the Sundance Film Festival. They wrote and produced their first feature 3Simoa (Simo times three) shortly after that. In addition to Euthanizer (Finlands Oscar Nominee 2018), their best-known works are an award-winning TV/web/ feature format called Lovemilla – a huge blockbuster with over 14 million views from Finland, and Mental (Sekasin) an award-winning pitch-black comedy about mental problems among young people. So far It’s Alive has produced 17 short films, 3 feature films, and 2 TVseries.

Tundra is a thriller feature film in the Arctic: the melting permafrost releases forces that threaten humankind. With her shaman-father, a Hong Kong-based archeologist fights the beasts to prevent the extermination. The extermination of mankind is released from the melting permafrost. In northern Siberia, at Kara Sea that opens only for a month a year, a small tribe is hit as their village is sinking in the melting permafrost. It needs to be moved, but there is no money for that. The new shaman and the leader of the tribe, Jum, 60, finds, because of the melt, an thus far unknown, enormous cave. It was a graveyard for ancient mammoths. The bones are valuable, and illegal. They are also the solution for financing the moving of the village. Jum’s daughter is Evi, 38, now an archaeologist in Hong Kong, moved from the village with her Chinese mother when she was 12. Jum asks her help with the operation that must be kept secret. Evi accepts the idea as this also provides her an opportunity to return to her childhood home.

Together, they strike a plan. Evi puts up an international expedition – experts from Russia and China - to research the tribe’s holy cave with stunning, ancient paintings on its walls. This cave has been kept secret to this date but now the secret is sacrificed. Under the cover of the expedition Evi and Jum will collect and move the tusks secretly.

Unexpectedly, in the mammoth cave, Evi falls into a pit to find herself surrounded by dead people, thousands of years ago frozen forever – now melting. Evi cannot avoid skin contact with the appalling melting human flesh. Evi gets sick, Jum soon after. The epidemic hits the villagers and the expedition. Luckily, it is severe but short with no casualties. It seems. One dead body is found, killed in a horrific way. Then more. It is like an intelligent beast is raving. The disease released from the dead changes the genetics of certain people and turns them into intelligent killers. For them, this small group of people in this ultra-remote corner of the world is only a training ground. The last words of the dying old shaman to his successor, Jum, were accurate: Stop your plan. Please. You will release extermination. The top beast on earth is finally being meeting its match and the evolution’s revenge. If Evi and Jum are not able to stop the them, no one is.

The King of Sauna is a factual-entertainment series, currently filming its first season. It focuses on Pasi Remsu, a master sauna builder, building interesting and varying saunas in the UK (Season 1), Asia and USA (Season 2) and all around the world (Season 3- ). It also tells about the exceptional Finnish sauna, its history, health benefits, role in culture and in sports etc. Every episode is themed, and every season has an overarching narrative arc. In the first series, Pasi builds a luxury sauna at the Shangri La Hotel, on the 52nd floor of the Shard in London. In anticipation of the Olympic Winter Games in Beijing 2022, we take a look at how sauna and Winter Sports go hand-in-hand. We also visit the young Chinese athletes preparing for the Games in Finnish Winter: Have they made Sauna a part of their training routine? The first series (8 + 1 episodes) started filming in September 2018 and is aimed at television / VOD platforms in 2020. The series is filmed in English.

#Lapland is a drama-comedy about a Sophie who, to save her failing UK travel agency, brings a group of international star YouTubers to Finnish Lapland to see the Northern Lights. While losing contact with outside world, both Sophie and the group ends up finding something much more important. #Lapland is written by British playwright Simon Corble (stage adaptation of 39 Steps – Olivier Award and Tony Nomination) and Finnish comedian Mika Eirtovaara, based on the original concept of Pasi Remsu and Juha Pihanen. The script is in its fourth draft phase and can still be adapted to either a tv miniseries or a feature film, or both. #Lapland is also being written for stage. The theatre version is scheduled to open in Londonlate 2020, with filming starting 2020-21. The play and screenplay are written in English.
