visit the markets, where handbags and electrical goods can be found at a cheap price AND enjoy panoramic views of the city looking down from Victoria Peak (you can reach it via Peak Tram, which is a visual experience in itself!). If you want to catch one of these, it’s essential to book well in advance. • The Dubai Mall, also known as the home of the Dubai Shopping Festival (held throughout January), is the world’s largest shopping mall based on total area. • Visit the Gold Souk for cheap gold, but be prepared to haggle.
