On going back to work

I might be biased but I do love September. It’s my birthday month, and that does potentially make me highly biased, however, I find that September almost becomes a mini new year in itself.

From a new found love of stationery to an urge to revamp our working space and clear the pantry, the Equinox energy is particularly strong.

It becomes that time of the year when we can really think about what we achieved so far and what do we want to do next.

The whole "back to school "cycle has definitely ingrained in our brain the idea that after slumber of the holidays it’s time to go back to the "daily grind".

Nevertheless, this is a year like no other. Many of us really didn’t have the chance to fully rest, as creatives, entrepreneurs and companies alike found new ways to evolve and pivot throughout this pandemic.

This is why this month we wanted to explore the new evolution of the passion economy, how people are connecting more deeply online, and also the ways that social media is shaping our relationship and our own feeling of belonging.

We even sprinkle a bit of magic into the month, inquiring about a deeper connection between ourselves and the spiritual world.

This issue falls right before the inauguration of the fifth edition of the Creative Impact Awards - which proves it's definitely time for the team to get back to work.

We are so excited to be able to celebrate again this year (albeit virtually) as everyone really needs something to look forward to in 2020. With the hope that you can join us for a productive, exciting, invigorating end of 2020.
