For these literacy centers, students will find the mystery sight word by finding the begining letter for each picture, once they have found all the letters, they will put them together to discover the mystery sight word.
Included in this pack is two versions of the center.
1. Full-page work mats: Each picture has two letters, students must choose the correct letter to match the beginning sound. Once they have found all the right letters, they can put them together to find the mystery sight word (17 pages)
2. Small cards: 4 pictures on each card, students will have to find the beginning sound in each picture, and record it in the box below. Once all the letters are recorded, they will find the mystery sight word. A recording sheet is included if you would like students to practice writing the sight words (12 cards)
The sight words included are from the Dolch Pre-Primer word list.
