This project involves the process of designing and generating a 40 storey tower using computational means and tools. The tower is without program and is design to explore the use of computational design process and machine aided production. The 120 m tower is situated in the historical site next to the Don River and attempts to explore concepts site specic form and facade treatment.

MODEL SCALE 1 : 200
The production process involve the exploration of different material properties and machine methods in order to validate the authenticity of the design and the possibility of model scale execution. Some of the materials explored include etched plexi, which brings about the benefit of different levels of visibility.

A series of study models that explore prospects of permeability and impermiability through the reinterpretation of the wall. The models propose a woven like structure that permeats multiple interconnected horizontal plane forming a diagonal matrix that offers the framework for understanding seperation as it relates to the public and the private.

The Kensington Market project explores the design of a pavillion purposed for the housing of an artist’s work. The piece that was selected for this pavillion was Piet Mondrian’s Victory Boogie Woogie, an Avant Garde De Stijl painting that brings together seemingly contrasting multiplicities so as to produce a cohessive whole. The complexity of the piece inspired me to design an intricate and delicate pavillion that is focussed primarily on the circulation of individuals and thus the question of permeability.
