Parents are often torn between the two extremes of stopping their kids on everything wrong they do and allowing them completely to explore their own ways by making mistakes and learning from them. To find a balance between these two is an extremely difficult and frightening task. There is not right or wrong answer to this but there are some guidelines which, if followed, can be immensely helpful for parents and children both. In schools there are often strict rules for preschool playground equipment and children have to abide by that. However, when the same kids explore the commercial playground equipment they expect more freedom and more fun.
Technically this is not a bad demand or expectation from the little ones and they should be cut some slack when they are playing in the supervision of parents instead of instructors and coaches.
