IBIZACREATIVA DISCOVER YOUR CREATIVE DNA No doubt that Ibiza's inspiring atmosphere has been appealing the most talented artists and is nowadays an ideal place for tourists eager to discover the local culture during the low season, by participating in a wide array of creative and authentic experiences that go from a traditional sandals workshop to a DJ training, passing through a course to learn how to cook the local dessert or a photographic workshop on a boat, among many others. All these experiences have been carely co-designed by the artists and artisans themselves with experts in tourism, which guarantees the perfect balance between authenticity and marketing, for which they have received the label "Creative Friendly" by the Creative Tourism NetworkÂŽ.

Craft Workshops 1. Silver jewellery workshop: You will have the opportunity to learn some different jewelry techniques such as hammering or oxidation.

2. MacramĂŠ techniques: The artisans will teach some examples of how to apply the technique. Each participant will be able to choose between them to do the same and take it as a souvenir. MacramĂŠ is easy to learn, and visible results are obtained quickly.

3. Wood decoration techniques: Participants will have the opportunity to learn how to age, stripe and stencil on wood, playing with colors and words to achieve a special memory.

4. Enamel with fire on metal: The origin of this ancient technique of fire dates back to the first millennium before the Christian era in southern Mesopotamia. In this workshop we recover the old techniques of enameling pieces by using ground glass, metal and fire.

5. Work techniques on leather: Become an artisan and work with chisels and hammer giving each piece an identity of its own discovering the tools, techniques and materials of the artisan work on leather.

6. Painting on textiles: The workshop consists of designing, drawing and painting a fan (on the surface of cotton) with special paint for fabric and acrylic. Another workshop option is to paint a cotton bag (tote bag).

7. Clay Jewelry workshops: Create your own pieces of jewelry with clay.

8. Decoration of "senallons eivissencs" (traditional Ibizan baskets): Workshop in which we will give free rein to creativity and decorate the typical "senallons" of Ibiza while learning their history and their uses.

9. Jewelry workshops: The workshop consists of making a ring, bracelet or any other accessory using copper, bronze, alpaca or silver. The work is done with the specific tools of artisan jewelers.

10. Creation of espardenyes (sandal) workshops: In this workshop you will have fun creating the typical footwear of the island with a point of creativity and modernity.

11. Dreamcatcher creation workshops: In this workshop we will create dreamcatchers that serve to filter the dreams of people by passing only positive ones.

12. Popular culture workshop: In this workshop, we will explain the origin of the typical Ibizan dance from the countryside and we will mould with clay each charater from the local culture. Each one being a famous character from the local culture.

13. Clay modelling for family: Tales and modelling workshop for family "The Magic Creatures of Ibiza�: discover the popular culture of the island in family. Each family creates her unique tale in 3D with characters created by temselves with our special clay adapted to children use.

Gastronomy 1. Goat cheese workshops: Become a farmer for a day. The fresh milk of the goats of the farm is the main ingredient of this soft and tasty cheese that you can take home.

2. Bread workshops: Become a farmer for a day. Elaborate and bake the traditional bread of the island of Ibiza.

3. Flaó workshops: Become a farmer. Come to make flaó following our traditional recipe!

4. Beer: the productive process: Discover the raw materials necessary for brewing beer, the production process (maceration, cooking and fermentation) and the different styles of the brewing world. The pack includes a visit to the facilities, and a guided tasting with food and drink: 6 beers and 6 tapas to taste all the possibilities of pairing our beers.

5. Brewing workshop: Brewing at home is a hobby that is increasingly widespread throughout the world. We offer customized workshops of various levels, taught by our professional team. If you want to learn how to make beer at home, or improve your technique, we are here to help you.

Nature 1. Ibiza herb workshops: Discover the native aromatic plants of the island and elaborate with them the traditional Ibicencan drink. During the workshop you will learn some traditional process as well as how to recognize the plants.

2. Homemade workshop of " Ibiza Herbes ": Workshop in which we will enjoy making the best known liquor of the island of Ibiza, knowing its history and, of course, tasting it.

3. Floral Ikebana composition: The activity will begin with the Can Saster farm guided visit. Along the course, we will realise the flower picking that we will use after to create our floral composition. The activity will end with the tasting of the products of our land.

4. Introduction to beekeeping: The workshop consists of an introduction to the world of bees and is divided into three parts: theoretical initiation, tasting of honeys of the year and a practical part with a visit to the apiary.

Circus workshops: Circolar offers you workshops of all kinds from beginners to advanced public: intensive workshops between two and four days, open workshops every month with open space circus, open stage and shows and Family Day adventures. Craft Workshops 1. Mosaic workshop: During this special workshop, participants will initiate themselves to the “Trencadís” method of Gaudí and experiment this Catalan colorful art with their own creativity.

Located in the heart of the Algarve (South Portugal), the municipality of Loulé is the most extensive municipality in the region. With the special wisdom of those who preserve the past with their hands, the craftspeople of Loulé recreate small fragments of the history of the municipality on a daily basis, bringing the habits and customs of many peoples who settled in the region into everyday life.

Craft Workshops 1. Palm weaving workshop: Loulé has been for a long time a land of weavers, women who are dedicated to weave Palm, a native plant of the Iberian Peninsula, to make baskets, carry cots or other objects. Take the opportunity to learn the ancient technique with a local artisan.

2. Sewing a “Taleigo” bag: The “taleigo” bag was made from scraps of fabric or reuse of clothes. It was used to transport things, to store dried fruits and vegetables and could also serve as a wallet or hand bag. The tradition to use this bag continues using it to keep the bread. Currently, due to the greater awareness of environmental issues, this bag has been reinvented and again used for the most varied purposes. With this activity, the participant will make exercises in the sewing machine and learn how to knit a “taleigo” bag.

3. Recreation of Platbands on Decorative Panels: A significant form of the artistic expression of Algarve's architecture and culture, platbands and their decorative motifs inspire a creative day in Loulé. After a walk through the city, you will have the opportunity to make traditional paints and some of the plasters that are used to make these items. Afterwards, you will be able to create your own small panel.

4. Felt workshop with Merino sheep wool: The extraordinary resistance of Merino sheep to the harsh conditions of the environment configures its rusticity, sobriety and adaptability of its wool. During this experience discover how to handle the Merino sheep wool with water and olive oil soap, to perform pieces in felt.

Photography 1. Loulé Street Photography: Through the heart of Loulé, this photowalk will provide you a trip through the city. During this activity, you will learn how to see "differently", how to observe the environment and local people.

Gastronomy & local products 2. Grape harvest in Quinta da Tôr: Every year, the harvest is made in Quinta da Tôr, in the month of September. The harvested grapes are sent to the vinification, where they results on excellent wines of this farm. Experience an exclusive visit to the vineyards and cellar. Take part in the grape harvest, enjoy tasting the excellent wines of this farm, vinified, matured and bottled on the property.

3. Medronho Harvest: The "Medronho" trees (or strawberry trees) are quite appreciated in Portugal and in the South of the country, in particular in the area of Serra do Caldeirão. Used mainly in the production of liqueurs and brandies, the fruits can also be consumed fresh or in derivatives such as jams and jellies. Come to know a little more about brandy medronho already considered a landmark of the region.

4. Figs with almonds: Dried figs are the dried forms of the fig fruit, which grows on the fig tree, scientifically known. While fresh figs are quite popular for their juicy, luscious texture, they are rather delicate fruits and are only available for a short time each year. Dried figs, on the other hand, can be savored throughout the year. In the Mediterranean countries, it’s typical to dry the figs and fill them with almonds. In this activity, the participant will learn all the process to cook this traditional sweet of the Algarve.

5. From Market to the Kitchen: Try the dynamics of a typical market with its smells and colors; learn how to cook traditional dishes of Loulé, which are part of the Mediterranean diet.

Make your own artistic object in a pottery mural workshop: The potter, Josep Torres, opens his workshop in the commercial pottery area of La Bisbal d’Empordà for travellers who wish to get to know the traditional process of designing and drawing pottery murals with a guided trip, or to those who wish to make their own artistic object.

2. Create in a small designer potter’s workshop: The potter, Annick Galimont, creates elegant, personal, unique useful and artistic objects inspired by nature in her small welcoming workshop-boutique in the commercial pottery area of La Bisbal d’Empordà. In her premises, with a calm, pleasant atmosphere, you will find, among other things, all kinds of tea and coffee sets and, if you feel like it, on her advice you can make your own creations!

Ceràmica Figueras i Fills: With clay, enamel, heat and a little imagination, Figueras i Fills workshop produces all kinds of plant pots so that you can add a touch of distinction to your garden or a touch of colour to your home. What makes this workshop different is the production of large-format pottery plant pots and Salvador will be delighted to explain everything to you during one of the guided trips of his workshop.

Puigdemont Ceràmica Artesanal: The Puigdemont sisters welcome all travellers who wish to get to know the manufacturing process of pottery products for the home with a guided visit to their Puigdemont Ceràmica Artesanal workshop, with a long family tradition, right next to the Terracotta Pottery Museum in La Bisbal d’Empordà. Create your own silver jewel using material inspired in nature: Playing with the limits of what is valuable and what is wild, the jeweller and anthropologist, Sana López, creates silver jewels, often mixed with materials found in nature. In her workshop-boutique, Artesana i Tribu, located in the pleasant Passeig Marimon Asprer in La Bisbal d’Empordà, you will have the chance to make your own, unique and completely customised piece of silver jewellery.

6. Artistic creation at the Espai Tònic: Espai Tònic is a former pottery factory today that aimed to the experimentation and exhibition of local artists' works. This would be an opportunity for you to create your own pieces.

7. Visit a pottery workshop:

The first written mentions of pottery in La Bisbal d'Empordà dates back to 1.511. generations of craftsmen, artists and alchemist have been shaping the clay for centuries. Today, la Bisbal is the capital of the ceramic industry, a pottery center of international reference. One way to understand this craft and meet locals is to visit a pottery workshop guided by one of its craftspeople.

Silleteras farms: The silleteros are farmers, from the village of Santa Elena, who keep alive the tradition of making silletas, large structures made of flowers that they proudly carry on their back. Throughout the year, you can visit their farms, they can learn their stories, visit their gardens and crops, enjoy traditional cuisine and make a chair with them to become a silletero for a day.

2. Planting trees in Parque Arví: The Arví Park is a natural reserve of 1,700 hectares located 30 minutes from the center of the city. In this space you can hike, know the farmers markets and connect with the living nature. The Park invites its visitors to leave a mark in the world and contribute to the preservation of forests. Creative communities 1. Routes through the Commune 13: Some years ago, Comuna 13 was known as one of the areas of greatest conflict in MedellĂ­n. Today, thanks to the joint effort between the government and the community, this area experienced one of the largest transformation processes in the city. From the hand of its own inhabitants, street artists and social leaders, the neighborhood is visited and its history of change is known through graffiti on the facades of houses, rap verses and hip hop steps created by the artists, the urban movements of the commune.

2. Routes through the Moravian hill: This artificial hill made entirely of garbage currently houses a 7-hectare garden built by the community. 1. The feltrons: It deals with a one-day workshop guided by an exceptional craftswoman where the participants can draw the red thread from the fiber transformation to the creation: washing, spinning, carding, felting and knitting!

2. The sculpture bath: It is a selection of three different workshops: direct cutting, fiberglass sculpture and the creation of a mold to reproduce a sculpture. Rocked by the sound of the river, you can learn the technique of your choice!

The municipality includes 133 villages, impressive with their natural sights. The Gabrovo villages are part of the magic of the region. Discovery workshops 1. Land art: As a trend "Land art" expanded boundaries of art by the materials used and the siting of the works. The materials used were often the materials of the Earth including for instance the soil and rocks and vegetation and water found on-site, and the siting of the works were often distant from population centers. Local artists from Gabrovo organize a special Land art residences and workshops in the city and the area, looking for connection with the Mountain and the River.

Craft workshops 1. Plaiting with maize leaves (belenitsa): The rugs made of maize leaves are part of the traditional artistic textile. Through the years their functions are different. In the past they were used for coverings in the village houses, today they are used as elements of decoration. Various types of vases, baskets, bags, slippers, mats for serving can be produced out of maize leaves.Â

2. Dyeing with natural dyes: The dyeing with natural dyes from plants has been familiar to people since ancient times. The blossoms, leaves and roots of various plants are used for obtaining of the dye substance. The obtained colours can be deep or pastellike, with faded shades.

3. Art residences: Poetry workshops, painting holiday, etc In the Gabrovo villages and city some art experiences are organized as writing workshop, painting, theatre, etc.

4. Orthodox icon painting workshop: Lets experience the orthodox icon painting with local artists, some workshops are organized for individual or groups. Introduction classes to the orthodox iconography are also planned.
