There is a saying that you should do something with all your heart or not at all. Well there is an artist out here in the art world taking heed to this saying and putting his all into it with his heart. So much so he even added heart to his name.

Meet Randy Heart, an exceptional artist who has decided through his own experiences how to help others get through their struggles with art.

CZ: When did you first get your start in art and what has kept you diligently active at it?

RH: I’ve been painting since I was six years old. Art gives me a peace that I can’t find anywhere else in the world. It’s my mental outlet.

CZ: What about being creative do you enjoy the most?

RH: As a creative it’s your responsibility to evoke emotions with your artwork. I enjoy listening to people interpret what they get out of my paintings.

CZ: You have a business called Dreamers Avenue and Parker Cloud. Can you tell us a little about this and what was the inspiration behind your creation?

RH: Dreamers Avenue is a Love company that focuses on three pillars; imagination, motivation and morality. We decrease negative self image and devaluing life. We do this all through art activities. I start off with worksheets that ask questions to provide a learning and discussion platform before the creative activity. Parker Cloud and Dreamers Avenue was originated three years after I graduated from college. I was in a tuff spot mentally, success seem to be more than what they pitched to us in Highschool. I had no career, no home ownership just student loans. I knew of other people who felt negative or less than because life’s challenging and I realized the dying need of positivity for the black community. We’re up against a lot. Oppression, depression unhealthy eating and thinking. So I created a character that can help people feel better about themselves. Parker Cloud.

CZ: What fueled your desire to work with the youth in the creative way that you do? RH: My people are hurting, we don’t believe in ourselves, a lot of us aren’t told or taught to believe in

positivity or the power of it. A lot of my people lack love and respect, so these babies grow up watching this and it turns into a cycle that repeats itself and trickles down to our communities and education system. What better way for me to step up and utilize my gifts to make people and children feel better about themselves.

CZ: How do you use art as a motivational avenue to reach the youth and help them to believe in themselves?

RH: I utilize my main character Parker Cloud that is committed to motivating and teaching values through products and services. Parker Cloud leads scholars over a number of sessions on art workshops and interactive discussions

“I’m ready to work with people and brands who believe in the core values we believe in; love, community, friendship and education. ”

ate a new modern classic.
