StarRez is Creighton University’s Department of Residence Life online student housing portal. This site will allow you to apply for housing, select your living accommodations for the upcoming year, pick a roommate, put in a maintenance request, and more.
PreProcess is LIVE at Creighton. Students can visit the NEST and make your $75 deposit to participate in the Apartment Lottery and Selection process.

ReContracting Process The ReContracting process is NEW this year. Using the StarRez tools, students will be asked to assemble groups inside of StarRez. Each member of an apartment group must complete the preprocess, including the $75 deposit, fill out their profile in StarRez, and join a group. All group members must be verified by a Group Leader.
Group Process Here is an overview of the Group Process inside of StarRez.
1.
Complete Demographic and General Information. We want you to complete the important move-in information in the StarRez Portal. This will eliminate the need for Residence Life to have to collect it again!
2.
Create a Profile. Create a profile and screen name, this will allow you to search for roommates or have roommates search for you.
3.
Create a Group. The StarRez process operates a Group Process. Whereas, only a complete verified group of 2, 3 or 4 students, can complete the process and select a room. The first step is to set up your group!

Title the Group. Create a Searchable title

Invite People to Join. You are NOW the group
leader, and only share that password with those you want in your group
You also have the ability to search for new roommates who have similar characteristics as you. Note: these students must have also completed the StarRez PreProcess to be searchable.

Add Yourself to a Group.
Your group leader
has now created a group you want to join. Simply complete the same steps, create a profile, and select join a group.
7.
Enter Group Name and Password.
These credentials are provided
to you by the Group Leader.
8.
Group Options. After joining the group both members should see new group members. Each group member has the ability to message each other. Roommate B may leave the group at any time, the Group Leader may delete the group. If the group is changed each member should receive email notification.
9.
Verify Group. After all members of the group have been
added, the Group Leader must verify the group. Groups may be verified as 2, 3, or 4 member groups. Only verified groups will be given lottery times. Additionally, roommate groups will only see rooms during lottery available for their size of group. Verified groups of 2 will only see two bedroom rooms, verified groups of 3—three bedrooms, and verified groups of four—four bedrooms.
