About FBLA

Future Business Leaders of America, Inc. (FBLA) is the largest business Career and Technical Student Organization in the world. Each year, FBLA helps over 230,000 members prepare for careers in business.

Mission

FBLA inspires and prepares students to become community-minded business leaders in a global society through relevant career preparation and leadership experiences.

Goals

Develop competent, aggressive business leadership. Strengthen the confidence of students in themselves and their work. Create more interest in and understanding of American business enterprise. Encourage members in the development of individual projects that contribute to the improvement of home, business, and community.

Develop character, prepare for useful citizenship, and foster patriotism Encourage and practice efficient money management. Encourage scholarship and promote school loyalty. Assist students in the establishment of occupational goals. Facilitate the transition from school to work.

Pledge

I solemnly promise to uphold the aims and responsibilities of Future Business Leaders of America and, as an active member, I shall strive to develop the qualities necessary in becoming a responsible business leader.

About the Keynote Speaker

Alexander T. Graham, FBLA President & CEO

Mr Graham has over 25 years of association management experience. Prior to joining Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), Mr. Graham served as CEO of the Council for Exceptional Children (CEC).

His prior association positions include executive director, chief operating officer, chief marketing officer, director of political affairs and membership director. Mr. Graham’s experience includes managing financial, human resource, and strategic planning programs, as well as membership, marketing, government/public affairs and conference development In addition to earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Lynchburg College in Lynchburg, Virginia, Mr. Graham earned a Master of Science degree in Organizational Effectiveness and a Master of Business Administration degree from Marymount University in Arlington, Virginia. Strawberry Crest's FBLA members and Administration are extremely excited to welcome Mr Graham for tonight's historic induction.
