Glenn has been on the Premier Cricket Umpires panel since the 1990/91 season and has umpired 444 Premier matches to date across his 33 years of continuous service. Glenn also holds 1st XI Heritage Cap #328 and has umpired in 47

Glenn has been an on-field mentor to 3rd XI Premier Umpires for the last 3 seasons, and he also umpires many junior matches (such as the Youth Premier League and Dowling Shield) where available.

In addition to his Premier Cricket officiating, Glenn is a VCAUSA Committee Member and has been their honorary Auditor since 2012.

UMPIRING MILESTONES

Melbourne CC has taken out the best 3rds & 4ths ground with the Beaumaris Secondary College - North Oval for season 2022-23.

Glenn’s commitment to umpiring has also been recognised by the VCAUSA, with Glenn receiving the Robin Bailhache Award in the 2015/16 season for being the most committed VCAUSA member.

Cricket Victoria acknowledges Glenn’s great contribution to cricket and umpiring in this state. This year’s Umpires Recognition Award goes to Glenn Cumming.
