Both mom and daughter are at risk of getting a breast cancer. However, cancer prevention is possible if you know how to beat it.
Fact
The Philippines has the highest incidence of breast cancer in Asia with 3 out of 100
Filipino women at risk of getting it in their lifetime.

· Breast Self-examination
Just as your period ends (at the same time each month if you do not have periods), check any change in the normal look or feel of your breast. Report any changes to your doctor or nurse. Go for regular exams and ask about a mammogram.
· Break the smoking habit.
· Eat a balanced diet to maintain a healthy weight.
· Get your Vitamin D.
· Walk and move that body.
See your doctor if you notice any of these in your breast:
· Change in size or shape
· Lump, hard knot or thickening
· Dimpling or puckering of skin
· Nipple discharge that starts suddenly
· New pain in one spot that does not go away
· Itchy, scaly sore or rash on the nipple
· Pulling in of your nipple or other parts
· Swelling, warmth, redness or darkening
ABOUT STAGE ZERO

Project Pink was launched last January 2008 as a non-stock nonprofit organization that aims to help and support to cancer patients and their families in their community. It was spearheaded by 5 core group members: cancer conquerors
Melissa de Leon-Josef, Joy Trinidad Angie Laborte, Jojette Yuhico, and Palliative Care Physician Dr. Mae Corvera.
In 2013 project being began a new fundraising and advocacy campaign as an extension of the Project Pink brand - Stage Zero. The main purpose of this is to encourage and empower patients, families in the community to conquer cancer through knowledge emotional, social, and spiritual support.
Part of the sales proceeds from Passionately Pink promotion will be donated to Stage Zero by Project Pink Support Group.
