Scientific Committee
13TH INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM ON MUCOPOLISSACARIDOSES AND RELATED DISEASES
Prof. ROBERTO GIUGLIANI will chair the Scientific Program and will involve on the Scientific Committee international experts and the most active Latin American and Brazilian specialists on the field. He is Professor at the Department of Genetics of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, in Porto Alegre, Brazil. He is also Director of the WHO Collaborating Center for the Development of Medical Genetics Services in Latin America and Coordinator of the Brazilian Institute of Population Medical Genetics. The Committee will be integrated by key players on the MPS field in Brazil. Dr. Ana Maria Martins (São Paulo), Dr. Angelina Acosta (Salvador) and Dr. Dafne Horovitz (Rio de Janeiro) already agreed in participate. Opinion leaders on the MPS field from Latin America and the rest of the world, including the past presidents of MPS symposia, will also be invited to integrate the Scientific Committee.
