The objective was to design an exhibition stand to be placed in a Building Materials trade fair. The chosen company was Corian Du Pont which is dedicated to making Solid Surfaces out of thermoplastic materials. The stand was developed by creating a threedimensional version of the brand logo and using brand colours to be easily identified. I also sought to show the capabilities of the material. The stand consists of a reception area, a room for meetings inside the cube and a resting area.

Starting with a free choice of a globally recognized brand, we had to design a window display which would clearly show the firm values. I chose LEVI’S and placed two hot-stamped wooden mannequins with the brand logo. By doing this I tried to show the sense of belonging to the brand, since people who wear these clothes identify them with their lifestyle.

This project was developed for a competition organized by a construction tools company to design its new office. The criteria were minimum cost and flexible spaces, it had to have an exhibition area, working area and work desks. I decided to use recycled timber slats that can be rotated about their longitudinal axis creating an open or close space which would either let in or block the sunlight being depending on company’s requirements. The rest of the furniture is to be made of recycled pallets SECTION A-A’

I designed an ephemeral space in a restaurant for Madrid Fusion convention, which is an event that celebrates world cuisines. The intervention is to place multiple wooden stakes under the whole ceiling simulating the sticks that hold the pintxos (a kind of Spanish “tapasâ€?). They are also coloured and I set up vinyl stickers on the floor to create an effect that the sticks are falling. This is a tribute to David MuĂąoz, who was named the Chef of the Year 2013 during that convention.

The Project was to design a restaurant in a 400 m2 space. The design had to include a professional kitchen and the staff welfare such as a dressing room, bathrooms, food store rooms, etc. Similarly we were to design the public area, fully accessible with ramps to make up for a 70-centimetre difference in levels.

A wooden track runs across the space from the entrance to the interior garden. I used wooden handmade cladding on the track and stone coating on the floor. Both of them end in the natural interior garden. This way a certain continuity is achieved the handmade materials end up as nature elements they were made of, namely trees, natural stone, plants‌

The project was to design a two-storey family house. The project requirements were to create a separate apartment for the grandmother and another one for the parents and their child. Public areas such as the kitchen and the living room were designed to be shared between the residents encouraging interaction between them. The core of the home was the metal stair that links two floors. This stair was inspired by the shape of human DNA as a visual reference of what family means.

Starting with the structure of a house I designed the entire interior, including the electric installation as well as the sanitation facilities. The garden was also a part of my design. For the garden, I chose a modern design which would work in different areas while in the interior I chose a more classical distribution with decors inspired by the mid-century design.

The design of this house comes from three shipping containers. The idea was to take the most of the existing resources, i.e. reuse and create a functional space integrated with the environment. The house would be placed in the Forest in Basque Country and it would be covered with an insulating layer made of wood shavings, making it look like an nest. Solar panels and a green roof would be placed to minimize the environmental impact and take the most of the natural resources.
