Since 2011, Trio Bordelestino has established itself as an acoustic format, appropriating an itinerant quality as a means of integrating sounds, rhythms, and cadences. It is through travell where the essence of its art develops, nourishing itself from new experiences which in turn generate spaces and instances for both musical and cultural exchange, in addittion to promoting their artistic proposal in Chile and the rest of the world, reason for which it is not unlikely to find them livening up weddings and celebrations as well as presenting their compositions in concerts and festivals. In 2012 they edited two disks with adaptations from the traditional world music repertoire and in the year 2015 released their debut album with original compositions entitled “Trazo�.
The artistic proposal is based in musical styles such as Tango, French Chanson, Italian Canzoneta, Tarantela, Waltz, Chilean Tonada, Balkanic, and Jazz, achieving an audio/visual show that transports its audience to another epoch, a borderless musical ilusion which opens up a new way of experiencing music from its roots. Through these elements, an intimate show is formed, filled with emotions, and with great critical recepetion wherever it has presented itself, both In Chile as well as throughout its three international tours around Brasil, France, Italy, Finland, Estonia and Holland, participating in the Kaustinen Festivals and Ferrara Buskers.
David Santis Chilean accordionist and music teacher has his origins in Tango and develops his compositions around its lyrics and music, dedicated to exploring through his instrument the multiple styles of world Folklore.
Lolita Ponce French Violinist with classical training since her childhood, is influenced by European itinerant music, gypsy music, theater and improvisation. She established herself in Chile in the year 2011 in order to share her knowledge as well as learn from Latin American Music.
Javier Valdebenito Chilean bassist and music teacher, with an extensive trajectory in the world of jazz, swing and popular music. His particular form of conceiving music combines elements of the avantgarde, swing, and free improvisation.
