Autobiography 1. My career review I graduate in Shih Chien University. My major is Communication Design. At the time when I in Shih Chien, I had bring up strong point of color material applications, form shape making, and proportion skill. After I was graduate from Shih Chien, I went to Domus Academy Milan to study master degree in Interactive Design. The course is specializing in user behavior, user interactive, and user interface. During my summer vacation, I took a interactive design job at TIM (Telecom Italia Mobile) as a intern. After complete my Master degree, I came back and work as a Industrial Designer in the Asus Design Center. After eight years, I though product design should more different stimulate then I change to DEM Inc. For me product design I think not only bring up your problem solving skills but also accumulation your professional knowledge. until now I still keeping my passion for my ideal job in product design. 2. Work experience From 2004 to 2016, I worked in three companies. The first one is ASUS computer Inc. The other is DEM Inc. thrd is Newegg E commence Inc. The detail are as follow:
From 2004 to 2012, I am a Sr. Industrial Designer at Asus Design Center. At that time, ASUS’s notebook appearance design is my primarily responsible , in addition, I also focus on notebook accessory design. In the early two years, I had join in several marketing project such as installation art for Computex Exhibition. That Exhibition win domestic and foreign medias praise. I also behalf of our company to win golden design award in National Palace Museum competitions then help them to production. From 2006 to 2010, I was in charge of our entry level and gaming series notebook design. During these 3 years, I am fully understand the value of communicate between different function team members. I also learn more about the product produce process especially in the area of plastic injection, in-mold decoration, metal stamp process and aluminum anodizing limitation. During the product development, I also write about appearance patent and new design patent. In the last two years (2010~2012), I was responsible in evaluate new material and technology with outsourcing partner, design consult contact with OEM vendor. I Also solving and negotiation product produce problem with them then let project on schedule. 2-2 DEM Inc. From 2012~2014, I was a Design Manager DEM is a integrated branding in marketing, consulting, and designing company. My responsibility is enhance and change function design, new product design, and communicate between client PM and designers. To establish new idea and concept as sketch 3D models renderings, story board presentation and CMF for new concept proposal. Also provides guidance to less-experience member more innovation and excellence 2-3 Newegg Inc. From 2014~2016, I was a private label design manager . In Newegg I was incharge of Define, develop, and communicate product design strategy, plans in the organization (Gaming product line, IT product line and home appliance line) Take the lead to create of current and future brand identities. Project Explain In K5/A5 project ,”short time “and “no more screw”were the most challenging work. K5/A5 model was a challenge and complicated case because it came with 4 sizes (14" 15" 17" 19" ). I had to communicate and work with four EMS vendors at the same time, and each vendor had 8 sku.

-Project Explain It was the first project that we co-worked with EMS Design Team. I was responsible for design consultant. I need to check our product id & ME member and also communicate with two EMS vendor. In the production stage, I need to confirm all colors of the product including plastic IMR and metallic anodizing. In this case color confirmation was the most challenging work because we have multi color version that I need to make sure plastic imr color and metallic anodizing color is within specifications.

-Project Explain N3 series is our middle level series I was responsible for the sketch in eagle eye language define and 14” type sku production.In this project "thin", the most important thing that we cared about was to combine its sound quality into its thin visual appearance.
N3 series project -2009~2010 N3 Middle level NB Design 此專案參與前期設計分析,草圖繪製 , 鷹眼設計語言定義 ,14 寸外觀 3D 建模,金屬髮絲紋路設定,CMF 定義設計 - 鷹眼設計語言的開發來自於設計初期對於聲音的效能的研究在現有的空間需求更大的音箱效能,而產生鷹眼設計語言,在金屬材料陽極的設定上刻意與側邊 帶狀遮噴顏色相同,當開啟使用時側面色帶的律動感帶起影音 NB 的世代. -14 寸為產量最大設計限制最高的機種,所有音質的設定要與 15 及 17 寸相同

-Project Explain Gaming series G1 is the first gaming notebook in asus. I was responsible for this segment define ,idea sketch drewing and final production. In this case we are first time use IMF process and metal press process. co work with MKT to creat “republic of gamers”this brand CI guid. it was more interesting project.
G1 series project -2006~2007 G2 High level NB Design 此專案參與前期設計分析,草圖繪製 , 電競功能語言定義 ,14 寸外觀 3D 建模,金屬髮絲紋路設定,CMF 定義設計 . - 電競類的桌機在 2005 年已經有在市場中展露,而在 NB 市場尚未有真正屬於電競的 NB,在硬體的資源及算圖速度的增進的情況下 G1 電競筆電設計採用線 條勾出電競玩家的力與美,在側邊的燈光與電競遊戲中的音效相互達到與玩家互動的效果.另外在介面上也同時設計第二小螢幕提醒玩家在完全螢幕的遊戲 時可以不漏接信件與訊息.

Wisdom NB project -2010 Wisdom NB Design 此專案參與前期設計分析,草圖繪製 , 模型驗證 ,15 寸外觀 3D 建模,使用者經驗設定,即使用者介面 CMF 定義設計 . - 在 PAD 產品未上市之前參與為智者與年長者設計筆記型電腦,整個專案的過程最令人興奮的事情就在前期使用者資訊搜集的階段,我們先以一般市面上所 使用的入門款式電腦給 65~70 歲,70~80 歲及 80 歲以上來觀察使用者的使用行為,及使用建議,最終在鍵盤,Touch Pad ,功能鍵及功能性的界面上去做外觀, 材質設計,重量的部分力求精簡.

Asus webcamera project -2006~2007 此專案參與前期設計分析,草圖繪製 , 模型驗證 ,與新事業群合作,重新設定使用者經驗設定,強化產品多面向使用. - 此專案包含兩個款式的設計,其中輕量折疊型獲得 IF 2008 及 Reddot 2008 相機款獲得 Good design 2007,摺疊款設計在材質運用上因防滑特性採用雙料射 出工法,並且能夠再精簡環境下使用金屬材料與特殊咬花的工法,相機款的腳座設計有效解決線材硬力影響本體角度設定的問題.

Asus Collection Gaming mouse project -2007~2012 此專案參與前期設計分析,草圖繪製 , 模型驗證 ,與 ODM 廠商合作,加強使用者在操作電競遊戲時所需求的功能鍵,並強化產品靈敏解析度 的調整使用觸控方式微調,整體設計由泡棉雕塑開始手工模型驗證,一直到與 ODM 廠商合作,亮光的呈現,金屬材質的效果及設計變更為有限設計,均是不 斷修正到最後的呈現,並獲得 2013CES 創新設計獎.

DEM- Facetitude retail store interior design in Taipei 101 project -2013 於 橙 果 設 計 時 期 所 提 供 精 品 品 牌 Facetitude 精 品 眼 鏡 專 櫃 設 計 服 務, 主 要 負 責 櫃 位 主 視 覺 設 計 及 設 計 主 體 方 向 定 義, 主 要 視 覺 是 採 用 facetitude 標準字延伸的概念去設計主要的產品擺放櫃,另外在在色系上大量使用金色極深色木頭,地板採用黑色高光澤無縫方式施作,外牆以透明 玻璃讓各個方向的客人均能夠看見店內最新產品,另外運用投影廣告效果投影在側面玻璃增加店內活潑度.

New egg- Rosewill Brand design project -2014 於新蛋時期所帶領團隊對於自有品牌 Rosewill 所設計新的品牌形象,Rosewill 目前的產品現以電競類產品為主,IT 及小家電產品為輔,希望以 帶有電競感的視覺,來帶領整體其他兩條產品線.新的設計形象是採取.新的設計形象是採取信任品質與創新三大品牌精神延伸出環繞出網路@的概 念來設計出屬於 Rosewill "R" Logo.

New egg- Rosewill Brand design project -2014 於新蛋時期所帶領團隊對於自有品牌 Rosewill 所設計針對電競玩家的一款電競後背包.電競後背包不僅是針對網遊電競家庭遊戲機店竟也算在 我們設計的範疇當中.內部的設計以隔層的方式可放置間竟專用線材、耳機、鍵盤為主其中也可以將家庭遊戲 PS4 或 Wii 主機放入,是一款多功能性 電競專用背包,當然同時也可以放下一台 17 寸筆記型電腦.

New egg- Rosewill Brand design project -2014 於新蛋時期所帶領團隊對於自有品牌 Rosewill 所設計新的品牌形象,在原本的構想希望 Rosewill 是以集團形象為主,其他產品線有各自的品牌 形象,左頁是以不完圈推翻就有的品牌形象,僅保留就有的 R 形象去延伸出新的電競品牌視覺,中間則是 IT 產品以 Zero10 為命名的設計,右邊是針 對小家電品牌進行品牌命名及最後品牌形象.
