WE MUST LOOK AT THE WAY WE ORGANISE OUR WORK One of the main enablers for this was Sónia Cristina, Quality Guardian, who actively helped in the development, optimisation and maintenance of JIMOS - Joy in Motion Operating System, which was also one of the major contributors to the quest for certification.
For ISO 9001 certification, which Critical TechWorks now has, “we must look at the way we organise our work”. This means that the team had to take a deep dive into the processes, procedures and policies in place at Critical TechWorks and assess which of these were used in dayto-day operations. Next, an assessment was made of what provided value and what would be done to improve things.
WHY IS THIS INTERNATIONAL CERTIFICATION SO RELEVANT? It is important to note that although the team had to meet dozens of different requirements in order to receive certification, this did not imply changing our culture or values. ISO requirements have been implemented in accordance with the Critical TechWorks mindset and working methods. Basically, the certification ensures that Critical TechWorks has the best procedures in place and is plotting the course for ongoing improvement.
