‘Bean Grounded’ is a mobile coffee cart that caters to outdoor events such as TV and feature film production. Whilst volunteering as a barista on set, I was given the opportunity to rebrand the cart by designing a new logo and developing the brand identity.

major project - disaster relief. tendril

Temporary refugee camps often have a tendency of becoming a way of life for communities affected by natural disasters. Tendril addresses community infrastructure by repurposing flight containers as development ‘hubs’ and providing stackable aid vehicles to assist with daily duties. Additionally, introducing educational colouring books with a scout-like reward incentive teaches children specific skills and encourages volunteer interaction. Our intention is for children to be a catalyst to benefit the community in the long term (see animation). “You have conveyed a complex subject in a very informative and intuitive way. Tendril raises some fascinating debates about community engagement and how we should be interacting with individual members of the homestead.”

Malcolm Shead, Operations Coordinator, Shelterbox.

Greatness Via Passion is a campaign delivered online and to schools and community groups with one goal: to inspire dreams and reduce the suicide rate to zero. It’s founder, Paul J Grainger, speaks at events delivering inspiring presentations that powerfully impact the audience through real stories, real struggles and real triumphs. Having been offered the incredible opportunity to resume his racing career, Paul planned on using this as a platform to connect with 10,000 students in schools both in the UK and Australia to instil in these young lives a simple yet powerful message of hope and passion, using this dream of his and the struggles he’s overcome to inspire theirs. Paul believed that Greatness Via Passion could do with a refresh in branding if he was to put it out onto a larger scale; this is where he approached me to help him with his campaign. The work I undertook included creating a new logo to reflect the brand message, designing business cards, merchandise, a new website and other visual content.
