Welcome to iJourney! The purpose of iJourney is to assist in your daily walk with Jesus. Every believer has an internal desire to grow in Christ. In reality though, most of us struggle with our daily walk. I have always said that the most difficult, yet delightful part about the Christian life is that it’s so daily. Most Christians struggle with the “daily-ness” of Christianity, not because they don’t want to walk with Jesus, but because they don’t know where to start. iJourney is designed to be your launching pad into an incredible journey with Jesus! To help you better hear the Spirit speak into your daily life, iJourney consists of four basic sections. You will begin with Preparation. Just as the farmer must first till the soil before sowing the seed, the Lord must first prepare the heart of the believer before sowing the seed of His Word. The section titled Preparing My Heart is included to help in this preparation. Next, is Revelation (One Year Daily Bible Readings). One of the greatest struggles for Christians today is hearing from God. We live in an information culture. As a result, many Christians study the Bible for information rather than allowing the Bible to speak to them in revelation. The word revelation means to unveil. Jesus said that the Holy Spirit will guide us into all truth (John 16:13). So as you read God’s Word daily, ask the Spirit to speak to your heart. The third section is Application. This is where you will ask the question “So what?”. What is the Spirit revealing that applies to your life? In the section My iJourney Notes, write down how the truths revealed through your reading and prayer time applies to the practical areas of your life. The final section is Transformation. The intention of this section is to help you with the question “Now what?”. This section includes memory verses for the month as well as a page titled Transforming My Prayer Life. Through memorizing Scripture and enhancing your prayer life, you will begin to witness a spiritual transformation (Romans 12:2a). Now it’s time to begin the journey! Be blessed! Bro. David Jett

Preparation Preparing My Heart Lord, speak to me today. Psalm 119:147 (NLT) I rise early, before the sun is up; I cry out for help and put my hope in your words. Psalm 90:14 (NLT) Satisfy us each morning with your unfailing love, so we may sing for joy to the need of our lives. Psalm 142:5 (NLT) Then I pray to you, O Lord. I say, “You are my place of refuge. You are all I really want in life.” Psalm 27:11 (NLT) Teach me how to live, O Lord. Lead me along the right path, for my enemies are waiting for me.

Lord, search me today. Psalm 143:8 (NLT) Let me hear of your unfailing love each morning, for I am trusting you. Show me where to walk, for I give myself to you. Psalm 90:8, 12 (NLT) You spread out our sins before you - our secret sins - and you see them all. Teach us to realize the brevity of life, so that we may grow in wisdom. Psalm 19:12 (NLT) How can I know all the sins lurking in my heart? Cleanse me from these hidden faults. Psalm 139:23-24 (NLT) Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. Point out anything in me that offends you and lead me along the path of everlasting life.

Lord, show me today. Psalm 5:3 (NLT) Listen to my voice in the morning, Lord. Each morning I bring my requests to you and wait expectantly. Psalm 25:4-5 (NLT) Show me the right path, O Lord; point out the road for me to follow. Lead me by your truth and teach me, for you are the God who saves me. All day long I put my hope in you. Psalm 25:12 (NLT) Who are those who fear the Lord? He will show them the path they should choose. Psalm 119:133 (NLT) Guide my steps by your word, so I will not be overcome by evil.

The Word was with God, and the Word was God. So the Word became human and made his home among us. He was full of unfailing love and faithfulness. And we have seen his glory, the glory of the Father’s one and only Son

MAY 2 - MAY 8 John 5:24 (ESV) Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life. MAY 9 - MAY 15 1 Samuel 16:7 (ESV) But the LORD said to Samuel, “Do not look on his appearance or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him. For the LORD sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the LORD looks on the heart.” MAY 16 - MAY 22 John 10:27-28 (ESV) My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand. MAY 23 - MAY 29 John 14:12-14 (ESV) Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because I am going to the Father. Whatever you ask in my name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask me anything in my name, I will do it.

MAY 2 - MAY 8 John 5:24 (NLT) I tell you the truth, those who listen to my message and believe in God who sent me have eternal life. They will never be condemned for their sins, but they have already passed from death into life. MAY 9 - MAY 15 John 10:27-28 (NLT) My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one can snatch them away from me, MAY 16 - MAY 22 1 Samuel 16:7 (NLT) But the Lord said to Samuel, “Don’t judge by his appearance or height, for I have rejected him. The Lord doesn’t see things the way you see them. People judge by outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.” MAY 23 - MAY 29 John 14:12-14 (NLT) I tell you the truth, anyone who believes in me will do the same works I have done, and even greater works, because I am going to be with the Father. You can ask for anything in my name, and I will do it, so that the Son can bring glory to the Father. Yes, ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it!

Transformation

Transforming My Prayer Life SURRENDER Philippians 1:21 (ESV) For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.

s Begin each morning by surrendering your life to Jesus. Pray: Lord, because I have awakened to another sunrise, I give this day to you. Because I am breathing oxygen which you have supplied, I give you my life today. I put off the old man with his deceitful lusts and self-centered desires. I lay my life down on the altar of surrender and humbly proclaim, FOR ME TO LIVE IS CHRIST TODAY!

s Luke 9:23-24; Romans12:1; Galatians 2:20; Ephesians 4:17-24 SUIT UP Philippians 1:21 (ESV) For to me to live is Christ...

s Next, you must put on the Lord Jesus. Pray: Today I put on the Lord Jesus as my armor of light. I put on the belt of truth and the breastplate of righteousness. I put on the shoes of peace and the helmet of salvation. I take up the shield of faith to quench all the fiery darts of the enemy, and I take up the sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God. Led by the Spirit, I will pray in the Spirit through each and every obstacle and opportunity throughout the day. I am well aware that the enemy is lurking and scheming against me today. I cannot win the victory on my own, but I rely upon the victory Jesus won on the cross and declared in His resurrection.

s Romans 16:20; Ephesians 6:10-18; 1 Peter 5:8-9 SERVE Philippians 1:22 (ESV) If I am to live in the flesh, that means fruitful labor for me. Yet which I shall choose I cannot tell. Pray: Lord, I choose to follow You as You advance your Kingdom of Love. Open my eyes to see what you are doing in the lives of people in order that I may serve you as your minister of love to them (John 5:19). Open my ears to hear what your Spirit is saying ( Revelation 2:7a) so that I may know your mind and may accomplish your will today (Philippians 2:13).

s Matthew 20:26-28; John 12:26; Ephesians 2:10; Philippians 2:5
