Welcome to iJourney! The purpose of iJourney is to assist in your daily walk with Jesus. Every believer has an internal desire to grow in Christ. The Holy Spirit is dwelling in you as a believer to guide you into all truth (John 16:13). If God is for you who can be against you (Romans 8:31)? In reality though, most of us struggle with our daily walk. I have always said that the most difficult, yet delightful part about the Christian life is that it’s so daily. Most Christians struggle with the daily-ness of Christianity, not because they don’t want to walk with Jesus, but because they don’t know where to start. iJourney is designed to be your launching pad into an incredible journey with Jesus! To help you better hear the Spirit speak into your daily life iJourney consists of five basic sections. You will begin with Preparation. The heart must be first prepared to hear what the Spirit is speaking. A section titled Preparing My Heart is included to help you in preparation. Three simple prayers, “Lord, speak to me today;” “Lord, search me today;” and “Lord, show me today,” are intended to prepare your heart to enter God’s Word. Next is Revelation. One of the greatest struggles for Christians today is hearing from God. We live in an information culture. As a result, many Christians study the Bible for information rather than allowing the Bible to speak to them in revelation. The word revelation means to unveil. Jesus said that the Holy Spirit will guide us into all truth. So as you are reading the Scripture selections for the day, allow the Spirit to speak into your heart.
The third section is Application. This is where you ask the question “So what?” What is the Spirit revealing that applies to your life? Following the reading plan is a section titled Applying the Truth. Write down how the truths revealed through your reading applies to the practical areas of your life. The fourth section is Transformation. The intention of this section is to help you with the question “Now what?” This section includes memory verses for the month as well as a page titled Transforming My Prayer Life. Through memorizing Scripture and empowering your prayer life, you will begin to witness a spiritual transformation. Scripture says, “Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed through the renewing of your mind…” (Romans 12:2a). The final section is Declaration. Most believers live well below their inheritance. We live conquered lives rather than as “more than conquerors in Christ Jesus” (Romans 8:37). We walk by fear rather than faith and succumb to temptation instead of dwelling in victory. This section titled Declaring the Truth will contain truths regarding your identity in Christ. Read them, believe them, own them, declare them, and then begin living them. Now is the time to begin the journey! Be blessed! Bro. David Jett

Psalm 139:23-24 (NLT) Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. Point out anything in me that offends you and lead me along the path of everlasting life.
Lord, show me today. Psalm 5:3 (NLT) Listen to my voice in the morning, Lord. Each morning I bring my requests to you and wait expectantly. Psalm 25:4-5 (NLT) Show me the right path, O Lord; point out the road for me to follow. Lead me by your truth and teach me, for you are the God who saves me. All day long I put my hope in you. Psalm 25:12 (NLT) Who are those who fear the Lord? He will show them the path they should choose. Psalm 119:133 (NLT) Guide my steps by your word, so I will not be overcome by evil.

September 5 - September 11 2 Corinthians 9:6-7 (ESV) The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. September 12 - September 18 Galatians 2:20 (ESV) I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
September 19 - September 25 Galatians 6:9-10 (ESV) And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up. So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith. September 26 - October 2 Ephesians 6:12 (ESV) For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.
September 5 - September 11 2 Corinthians 9:6-7 (NLT) Remember this - a farmer who plants only a few seeds will get a small crop. But the one who plants generously will get a generous crop. You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. “For God loves a person who give cheerfully.” September 12 - September 18 Galatians 2:20 (NLT) My old self has been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. So I live in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
Transformation
Transforming My Prayer Life Every believer desires to live in the resurrection power of Jesus. The problem many of us face is not desiring the power, but walking the path to power. There are no shortcuts to the release of God’s power and the fulfillment of God’s purposes. God’s path to resurrection power led His One and only Son to Gethsemane then to Calvary. We are called to “Follow in His steps…” (1 Peter 2:21) John 12:23–26 (NLT) Jesus replied, “Now the time has come for the Son of Man to enter into his glory. I tell you the truth, unless a kernel of wheat is planted in the soil and dies, it remains alone. But its death will produce many new kernels—a plentiful harvest of new lives. Those who love their life in this world will lose it. Those who care nothing for their life in this world will keep it for eternity. Anyone who wants to be my disciple must follow me, because my servants must be where I am. And the Father will honor anyone who serves me.”
September 19 - September 25 Galatians 6:9-10 (NLT) So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up. Therefore, whenever we have the opportunity, we should do good to everyone - especially to those in the family of faith.
My Gethsemane – Submitting my will
September 26 - October 2 Ephesians 6:12 (NLT) For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.
John 3:30 (NLT) He must become greater and greater, and I must become less and less.
“. . . not my will, but yours be done.” (Luke 22:42) Just as Jesus went to the garden and submitted to the Father’s will, we too must submit to the will of the Father every day. Pray: Father, as I face the many obstacles and opportunities of this day I begin by declaring, not my will, but Yours be done. I lay down my will in order for you to fully release your will to and through me this day.
My Calvary – Surrendering my life “No one takes my life from me, but I lay it down of my own accord…” (John 10:18) Following the submitted will must come the surrendered life. Jesus did not call us to commit more of our life to him, but to surrender all of our life unto Him.
Pray: Father, today I take up my cross of death to self. I reckon myself dead to the old life of the sinful nature in order that the new life of the Spirit might flow freely through me today. Luke 9:23–24 (NLT) Then he said to the crowd, “If any of you wants to be my follower, you must turn from your selfish ways, take up your cross daily, and follow me. If you try to hang on to your life, you will lose it. But if you give up your life for my sake, you will save it.”
My Victory – Serving my King Once you have submitted your will and surrendered your life, you are now ready to take up your victory! Take hold of the victory that is yours in Jesus and live today in the inheritance rights as a child of the King! Pray: Father, I choose to live the life of faith today. I choose to live in the life of victory purchased for me in the cross and presented to me in salvation. Produce through me the resurrected life of the Kingdom into the lives of those I meet today. Galatians 2:20 (ESV) I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. 1 Timothy 6:12 (NIV) Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses.
Declaration Declaring the Truth As a blood-bought child of the King of kings and Lord of lords, I am standing in the strength of the Lord and the power of His victory over all the forces of hell today (1 John 3:8). I have every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms at my disposal (Ephesians 1:3). I have the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit filling me and flowing through me to defeat every enemy and conquer every foe. I am well aware that Satan is scheming to steal, kill, and destroy my life today (John 10:10). Therefore, I put off the old nature with its self-centered lusts (Ephesians 4:22), and I put on the Lord Jesus Christ as my armor for today’s battles and give no provision for the sinful nature to gratify its desires (Romans 13:14). I put on the whole armor of God to take my stand in the battles of this day (Ephesians 6:10-18). I put on the belt of truth to combat the lies of the devil. I put on the breastplate of righteousness to guard my heart against all unrighteousness. I put on the shoes of peace to stand firm against all worries and anxieties. I take up the shield of faith to extinguish all the fiery darts of the enemy. I put on the helmet of salvation and take all my thoughts captive to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5). I take up the sword of the Spirit, the Word of God, to destroy every scheme and demolish every stronghold the enemy has set up in my heart. I stand today in the victory of the crucifixion, resurrection, and ascension of the Lord Jesus Christ. His victory in the cross has secured my victory over sin. His victory in the resurrection has secured my victory over death. His victory in the ascension has secured my victory over every ruler and authority in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 1:2; 2:6; 3:10). The gates of hell will not prevail, but will find their power to no avail. In this place of victory I stand, for my life rests securely in my Master’s hand.
