...woodchip as a source of energy
A
Using woodchip fuels with moist content of 25-60%, can raise the system efficiencies to 100% or even higher. Focus Energy supplies hot water and steam boilers covering an output range of 400-15,000 kW. The boilers are designed to match customer requirements and are adapted to suit specific demands. Flue gas cooling: When using moist fuel, it can be beneficial to install a flue gas scrubber unit. This will raise the efficiency to above 100%. Such units optimise energy utilisation by cooling, and the purification of the flue gases minimises environmental impact. The system is divided into two stages: First, the flue gases are sprayed with water to optimise the purification effect. The next step involves cooling. In this step, the water is condensed and the condensation heat is transferred into the district heating water – thus improving efficiency. To improve operating efficiency, heat pump systems and absorption chillers systems from Focus Energy can be applied. This maximizes efficiency and reduces operating costs. Focus Energy draws on many years of experience and uses components that are optimally suited to the purpose. The flue gas scrubber unit is build from corrosion and acid-resistant materials. The units are designed for stepless regulation of performance to achieve optimal operation and incineration regardless of actual plant load.
Fuel flow through the installation: When designing installations, Focus Energy focuses clearly on optimal fuel handling. Solutions involving cranes makes it easy to handle the fuel and open up a range of options in the context of storeroom organisation. At the same time, crane-based solutions are very reliable.

... woodchip is the most economical fuel!
Energy with consideration also has to do with occupational health and safety. Our biofuel plants can easily be kept clean and safe and take into account personal safety.
Combustion technology: Correct furnace design optimises energy utilisation and minimises environmental impact.
Durable design and accurate control of temperature, water flow and combustion technology are the keys to a long service life.

Focus Energy develops and supplies equipment for the production of heat and electricity. This equipment covers everything from individual boilers to turnkey heating and CHP plants. Installations and plants are designed on the basis of ongoing dialogue with the customer, an approach that allows Focus Energy to ensure the best possible solution and operation. The complete system solution approach also involves Focus Energy following up with competent and efficient service after delivery. Focus Energy’s vision: to be a leading supplier of energy plants for environmentally responsible heat production. To this end, Focus Energy places emphasis on acting as a sounding board for its clients throughout the process from planning to delivery, and on being an exciting place to work – a workplace that develops constantly. Focus Energy’s mission: we aim to develop and supply plants that use the available energy sources to generate thermal energy. We want to make optimal use of the energy by applying modern technology and know-how.
