Our international supply chain meets Sedex Members Ethical Trade Audit standards for social and environmental ethics. Audits are conducted every 1-2 years, and our energy-efficient, electricpowered factory meets the highest standards of health, safety and fair labor. A skilled maker hand-dips the steel with multiple coats of porcelain, then fires it in a kiln before applying the color by hand. Each Splatterware Plate is hand-painted, and each Vintage Mug rim is hand-rolled with food-safe enamel. We bring traditional craft to the modern table.

Since she began leading the company in 2012, Cara has worked tirelessly to evolve this heritage brand, known as the originator of splatterware design, for a new generation of customers who value beautiful functional design and love to gather and entertain.
Under Barde’s leadership, the business has grown 6x in just a few years, including significant international expansion. She has established distribution in trend-setting international retailers such as Merci in Paris, Labour & Wait in London, and Goop, West Elm, Williams-Sonoma and Anthropologie in the US. Through the expansion, she has created fresh demand for its iconic product, while highlighting its broad appeal to luxury and value-driven consumers alike.
