or more than a century, a beautiful Italian stone pine was the centerpiece of many activities and events at Spreckels Park. Birthday parties, wedding proposals, daily play time for Sacred Heart students, Coronado Promenade Concerts and the Coronado Flower Show were held under its large canopy.
