CROWN COLLEGE FOOTBALL A letter from John Auer, Head Football Coach at Crown College since 2000.

rown College Football offers a unique opportunity for players to come together by forming a common bond in their faith development while being challenged to grow as a young man in every area of their life. Football is a teaching tool which allows us to be together, to compete, and grow as men of God, while developing accountability through relationships with one another as coaches and players in an atmosphere unlike any other college football program in the country. In the Crown College football program,

we talk a lot about “manning up”. It is easy to be a man of the world but it takes toughness and desire to do things right. It takes toughness to go to class everyday and get your class work done on time, it takes desire to practice hard each day, it takes intestinal fortitude to hold true to values and beliefs when you are an 18-22 year old young man. The type of discipline required to “man up” is also required well beyond your years at Crown. I recruit young men first, because of their faith and who they are as a person. We are a Christian football

program that desires to find studentathletes who want to be involved in an environment like ours that values being Christ-centered, academically excellent and globally connected. It’s important to me that at the end of your four years at Crown, you are not only are a better student athlete and better prepared for your future, but also that you are a better person. If you are looking for a competitive and challenging athletic and academic experience, then I encourage you to apply to Crown College.

OFFENSIVE PHILOSOPHY

DEFENSIVE PHILOSOPHY

“We run a multiple set offense that strives to be a balanced approach that allows our athletes to get their hands on the ball in multiple ways with the ability to turn the big play at any moment. ”

“Our defense is predicated on playing fast and violent as a unit, being more physical than any other team we play, and doing the right thing on the field and in life.”

“The Crown Football program is a family; a family dedicated to becoming better Christian men and athletes - on and off the field.” – Drew Zoromski #92 | Fennimore, WI “Being on the football team at Crown has taught me more than just how to succeed in the game. The coaches and others players have helped me develop into a willing servant of Christ.” – Max Moser #73 | Fort Campbell, KY

“This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers.”

PROGRAM PRIORITIES

1. Faith 2. Family 3. Future 4. Football A PARENT’S PERSPECTIVE By Dr. Brent and Lisa Milner, parents of 2011 graduate and Storm football player, Drew Milner. “It was Drew’s senior year of high school and he had just returned home from attending a Fellowship of Christian Athletes Football Camp held by Coach Auer in Cody, Wyoming. Drew has always been athletic but he had never been on fire like he was as he explained the awesome time he had at camp, meeting Coach Auer, his student athletes, and the new realization that he played for an audience of one: God! Drew was confident that he should attend college and play football at a Christian school, specifically Crown College. “Not long after, Coach Auer sat with us in our home at the dining room table, assuring us that Drew would have lots of opportunities both on and off the field at Crown College. While Drew would need to make the most of these opportunities, Coach Auer said he’d treat our son like his own and look out for him. It’s 5 years later and Coach Auer kept his word. We’ll never know all that he, the other coaches, and professors poured into our son but we see the godly man Drew has become, his successful football career, and upcoming graduation and know Crown College was indeed the right choice for him.”
