Chasing Dreams receives a $1,000 grant
Continuing the 25th Anniversary Celebration...via Facebook! In September, we asked the community to help us celebrate the Crown Point Community Foundation’s 25th Anniversary via Facebook! All month long, people nominated their favorite local non-profit on our Facebook page to have an opportunity to receive a $1,000 grant from the Foundation. The feedback was astonishing. 39 non-profit organizations were nominated, 500 votes were recorded and over 10,000 people were engaged on Facebook! The organization randomly selected to receive the $1,000 grant was Chasing Dreams, a local
non-profit that provides support to children with Special Needs and their families. If you missed the celebration on Facebook there is still time to join the fun! Make any size donation to the CPCF before the end of the year and you could be randomly selected to give a $500 check to the local charity of your choice.
Like us on Facebook to see current grants awarded, community pictures, special events and more information about our anniversary grants!
