Cyber Security
Cyberroot Risk Advisory (CR Group)
Cyber Security is a huge concern for businesses and governments around the world.
Cyber security threats are on the rise, with criminals and other malicious actors targeting companies to steal sensitive data and profit from it.
As cyber crime continues to grow in prevalence and sophistication, organizations need to implement robust security measures to protect their business from cyber attacks.
What is cyber security?
The term "cyber security" has been used since at least 1996 when it was first defined by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). It refers to protective measures taken against threats like viruses, worms and network attacks.
Why cyber security is so important?
In today’s digital economy, businesses must be prepared to respond quickly when incidents occur. This means having a plan in place for how you will react during an incident and what steps you will take next.
Cyber security has become a necessity in today's world. It is important for organizations to have cyber security policies to protect sensitive data from being stolen or leaked. The presence of cyber security experts in an organization can help prevent these types of incidents from happening.
Types of cyber security
Cyber security can be broken down into three main categories:
Physical Security
This includes protecting physical assets such as buildings and networks from unauthorized access by unauthorized individuals.
This includes protecting computers from viruses, spyware and other types of attacks on their operating systems as well as their applications. Network security also includes monitoring network traffic for inappropriate activity.
Data Security –
This includes protecting confidential information stored on computers such as personal financial information or medical records by encrypting data before sending it over the internet.
