NEW!

Majestic Mekong

Escorted Tour

with Angkor Wat, Saigon & The Dolphins of Irrawaddy RV Tonle Pandaw  14 Nights  17 Sep 20  T18967

The Pandaw experience is all about exploring remote and often hard-to-navigate rivers in specially-designed luxury small ships. A Pandaw adventure is very different from that offered on an oceangoing cruise. The ships are small scale, and the atmosphere is informal, and very friendly. While the craft may be small, we have the highest passenger-to-deck- space ratio of any cruise ships afloat. If you seek unforgettable moments of tranquillity and cultural richness, whilst gliding through some of the world’s most amazing scenery, then welcome on board!

We Are THE EXPERTS - FIRST HAND EXPERIENCES

The Most Romantic World Wonder The emotion we all felt when walking through that guarded gate straight into the most immaculate gardens and the sight of the most beautiful building I have ever seen, was quite overwhelming as there she was in all her white marble glory, the Taj Mahal. The beauty of this building is something that I cannot describe, it is something that only those that experience it will ever understand.

Pandas & Warriors

South African Adventure

Terracotta Warriors The art and shear craftsmanship that the people making them had to have and such a long time ago is unbelievable and it really makes you wonder what it must have been like to be part of that lifetime and the commitment and loyalty they had to their emperor.

After checking in to our lodge and enjoying hearty lunch we were off on our first Game drive. After literally ten minutes we were sat with our jaws dropping as we watched Rhinos bathing as Giraffes and Elephants wandered by. We stopped half way round to stretch our legs, take in the view and enjoy a glass of wine as we watched the animals milling past.

Pandas in Chengdu

- Caroline

It was very surreal to see them up close in real life and they were so cute you just wanted to go up and give them a big squeeze. I must say they are very, very docile and lazy and slumbering about not doing too much (much like normal teenagers).

Frequently ASKED QUESTIONS

YOUR QUERIES ANSWERED

Will I need a visa and are these included in the tour price?

It is your responsibility to seek advice from a professional visa company or from the embassy of the countries that you will visit. Our partner company for visa enquiries is CIBT. Please be aware that China instituted new fingerprinting requirements in November 2018 for passengers visiting more than one region and on extended stays in China. You will required to visit your local Chinese embassy in either London, Manchester or Edinburgh as part of the process of attaining a Chinese visa

How many bags can I take on my Bucket List trip?

Most tours don’t include porterage as standard, although many of the hotels do have porters which can be paid for separately. We recommend you travel as light as possible due to the touring involved.

How large are the groups on a bucket list tour?

Tour numbers in groups are limited to a maximum of 30 passengers.

What if I have mobility, dietary or medical issues?

If you have any mobility, dietary and medical issues, we will try and accommodate your requests. Please note that it is essential that you bring these to our attention before you book. Most tours are able to accept passengers in fold-up scooters and fold-up wheelchairs, although there will be some activities, which will be impossible to undertake. It is our aim to inform you of such activities before you book. Most tours can accept passengers with special diet and medical needs, but there are occasions where the need can not be catered for locally

Some tours involve internal flights and will almost always limit the amount of checked baggage to 1 x 23kgs. Please be aware that any luggage over this will incur an excess luggage charge to be paid locally at the airport.

Will there be a tour guide there at all times?

Our tours are usually escorted by local tour guides

Some tours will have national guides that stay with the tour as it moves from destination to destination Other tours will have local guides joining the tour on a daily basis. Please ask your sales consultant for more information on the tour leaders

Do I need travel insurance?

Travel insurance is an important part of any booking. We require that you have travel insurance booked for any of our Bucket List Collection itineraries which covers the activities and experiences on your chosen trip.

When will I receive my tour and cruise documents?

We always aim to send out your documents 10 days before travel.

Will I be expected to tip my tour guide?

In certain countries you will be expected to tip your guide. We will give you plenty of notice and tell you the customs for the countries you will be travelling to.

is the cancellation policy? Are all my meals included whilst on the What The person who made your booking (lead name) may tour? cancel your travel arrangements at any time with written

We have stated on each itinerary which meals are included in your itinerary. Some of these meals will be particularly special ones such as a cooking class in Delhi or a Sichuan Hot Pot dinner in Chengdu

Will there be free time to explore on our own during the tour?

There is a great mix of escorted day tours where you will really get under the skin of the country you are travelling in. But we also know it is important for you to enjoy a day here and there to explore by yourself.

Are my flights included & can I use regional airports?

We include the cost of your flights in all our Bucket List Collection Itineraries, normally based on flying in and out of London. If you however would like to fly from a regional airport then our Expert Travel Consultants can find the best routing to fit your needs.
